Eschatological Passage of Psalms 22

Eschatological Passage Psalms 22-24 The Shepherd passages
Psalm 22 (9 pages)
Why Have You Forsaken Me?
Zadok, therefore, and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem, and they tarried there. And David wentup by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot and all the people that were with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up (II Sam 15:29-30). So David, in this broken but trusting spirit, is led to write some of his most expressive psalms (Psalm 3; 22; 14; and 53)

30 CE Shâchaṭ שׁחט Messiah Yahushua, Yeshua (Jesus) cut off in the midst of the week for our redemption.
Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man; for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day; as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day. Josephus Antiquities 18:3;
31 CE Shâchaṭ שׁחט
A natural solar eclipse can only occur at the new moon. Yahshua was crucified on Abib 14, at a full moon in the mid month; darkness would be a miracle, not a natural eclipse.
Forty years before the destruction of the Temple, the western light (of the Lamp-stand, the Menorah) went out, the crimson thread remained crimson, and the lot for the LORD always came up in the left hand. They would close the gates of the temple by night and get up in the morning and find them wide open”.(The Yerushalmi, p.156-157)
Our rabbis taught: During the last forty years before the destruction of the Temple the lot (‘For the Lord’) did not come up in the right hand; nor did the crimson-colored strap become white; nor did the western most light shine; and the doors of the Hekl (Temple) would open by themselves”.(Yoma 39a)

Jesus died in th midst of the week 4000 years from Creation on the 4th day of the week on Passover which is not a Sabbath in 30 CE. Passover is a day of preparation for the first annual Sabbath of Feast of Unleavened Bread. This is what Jewish Messianic Churches teach and this is what I teach.

Psa 22:1 To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David. My God (Psa_31:14-16, Psa_43:1-5; Mat_27:46; Mar_15:34; Luk_24:44), my God, why hast (Psa_37:28, Psa_71:11; 1Sa_12:22; Heb_13:5) thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me (Heb. my salvation, Isa_46:13), and from the words of my roaring (lamentation. Hebrew. sha'ag = spoken of a lion, and of thunder)?
of David = relating to or concerning David’s Son and David’s Lord (Mat_22:41-45). "The root and the offspring of David" (Rev_22:16). David "being a prophet and knowing . . . spake of". These three Psalms (Psalm 22, Psalm 23, Psalm 24) relate to the sufferings and the glory of "the Man Christ Jesus." Psalm 22 = The Good Shepherd on Earth, in Death (Joh_10:11). Psalm 23 = The Great Shepherd, in Heaven, by Resurrection (Heb_13:20). Psalm 24 = The Chief Shepherd, coming in His Glory to earth and Zion, again (1Pe_5:4. Rev 19). See the Structure (p. 721). Psalm 22 is Christ as the sin offering; Psalm 40, as the burnt offering; Psalm 69, as the trespass offering.
My GOD, my GOD. Hebrew my El (App-4. IV). God as Almighty in relation to the creature; not Jehovah (App-4.), in covenant relation with His servant. Quoted in Mat_27:46. Mar_15:34. The Psalm is Christ’s prayer and plea on the Cross. It begins with "My God, my God" (Mat_27:46. Mar_15:34), and it ends with "It is finished". See note on Psa_22:31, and compare Joh_19:30. If the Lord uttered the whole of this Psalm on the cross, the dying malefactor must have "heard", and believed (Rom_10:17). Compare Luk_23:32, Luk_23:40-42. The "kingdom" had been referred to by Christ in Psa_22:22-30. See note on "roaring", below. The Figure of speech Epizeuxis (App-6) is used for solemn emphasis.
It is believed by some scholars (including this humble student) that our Lord actually quoted all, or, most of this Psalm while hanging on the Cross. Compare Mat_27:46; Mar_15:34.
Psa 22:2 O my God, I cry (Psa_42:3, Psa_55:16-17, Psa_88:1; Luk_18:7; 1Th_3:10; 2Ti_1:3) in the daytime, but thou hearest not (answerest not); and in the night (Luk_6:12, Luk 18:7, Luk_22:41-46) season, and am not silent (Heb. there is no silence to me).
Psa 22:3 But thou art holy (the Divine attribute; Psa_145:17; Isa_6:3; Rev_4:8), O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Psa 22:4 Our fathers (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. Psa_44:1-7; Gen_15:6, Gen_32:9-12, Gen_32:28; Exo_14:13-14, Exo_14:31; 1Sa_7:9-12; Rom_4:18-22; Heb_11:8-32
Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart
Pro 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Pro 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Pro 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
Pro 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Pro 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Pro 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Pro 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
Pro 3:9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
Pro 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Pro 3:11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
Pro 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
Psa 22:5 They cried (Psa_99:6-7, Psa_106:44; Jdg_4:3, Jdg_6:6, Jdg_10:10-16) unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted (confideth) in thee, and were (Psa_25:2-3, Psa_31:1, Psa_69:6-7, Psa_71:1; Isa_45:17, Isa_49:23; Rom_9:33, Rom_10:11; 1Pe_2:6) not confounded.
Psa 22:6 But I am a worm (Hebrew. tolar not the ordinary word for "worm", but the crimson coccus from which the scarlet dye was obtained. Hence rendered "scarlet" in Exo_25:4; Exo_26:1, &c. See note on Jos_2:18, and Exo_12:13. Jacob, so called Isa_41:14. Christ thus took the lowest place of His People. Job_25:6), and no man (Heb. ish); a reproach (Psa_31:1, Psa_69:7-12, Psa_69:19-20, Psa_88:8; Isa_49:7, Isa_53:3; Rev_15:3; Heb_13:12) of men (Heb. Adam), and despised of the people.
Psa 22:7 All they that see me laugh me (Psa_35:15-16; Mat_9:24, Mat_27:29, Mat_27:39; Mar_15:20, Mar_15:29; Luk_16:14, Luk_23:11, Luk_23:35-39) to scorn: they shoot out (open; Psa_31:18; Job_16:4, Job_16:10, Job_30:9-11; Isa_57:4; Mat_26:66-68)) the lip, they shake (Psa_44:14, Psa_109:25; Isa_37:22-23; Mat_27:39-40; Mar_11:29-32) the head, saying,
Psa 22:8 He (Quoted in Mat_27:43. Mar_15:29. Luk_23:35) trusted (Heb. rolled himself on, (Psa_37:5, Psa_55:22; Pro_16:3 *marg. Mat_27:42-43) on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him (Psa_3:1-2, Psa_42:10, Psa_71:11, Psa_91:14; Mar_15:30-32) deliver him, seeing (if he delight, Psa_18:19; Isa_42:1; Mat_3:17, Mat_12:18, Mat_17:5; Luk_23:35) he delighted in him.
One of the cross references said brought forth to a large place and this brought forth reminded me of the word rapture (take, gather, caught up). Brought forth refers to Feast of First Fruits in 30 CE, birth in 3 BC at Feast of Tabernacles, and conception on Chanukkah 1 (Kislev 25th) on the Sabbath and 9th month and 24th day of Haggai.
Psa 22:9 But thou art he that took (Psa_71:6, Psa_139:15-16; Isa_49:1-2) me out of the womb: thou didst (Psa_71:17; Isa_7:14-15 (9th month 24th day and Chanukkah 1 (Kislev 25th), Isa_9:6 (Feast of Tabernacles)) make (cause) me hope (trust, or confide. Hebrew. Batah; keep me in safety, Mat_2:13-15; Rev_12:4-5)) when I was upon my mother's breasts.
This verse ties to the rapture in 2017 (Psalms 117) and the coming of the Antichrist on December 25th.
Psa 22:10 I was cast (Isa_46:3-4, Isa_49:1; Luk_2:40, Luk_2:52) upon thee from the womb: thou (Joh_20:17―Feast of First Fruits 30 CE) art my God from (Jer_1:5; Gal_1:15) my mother's belly.
Psa 22:11 Be not (Psa_10:1, Psa_13:1-3, Psa_35:22, Psa_38:21, Psa_69:1-2, Psa_69:18, Psa_71:12; Joh_16:32) far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help (Compare Psa_69:20. He was alone in this wondrous work; Heb. not a helper, Psa_72:12, Psa_142:4-6; Deu_32:36; Mat_26:56, Mat_26:72, Mat_26:74).
Are you going to deny Christ if you are not taken up in the rapture or are you going to stay strong with Yeshua till you are beheaded for your faith in HIM?
Psa 22:12 Many bulls (Psa_68:30; Jer_50:11) have compassed me: strong (Deu_32:14-15; Isa_34:7; Eze_39:18; Amo_4:1-3; Mat_27:1; Act_4:27) bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
Bulls remind me of the golden calf at second trip up for the ten commandments.
Psa 22:13 They gaped (Heb. opened their mouths against me, Psa_22:7, Psa_35:21; Job_16:10; Lam_2:16, Lam_3:46; Mat_26:3-4, Mat_26:59-65) upon me with their mouths, as a (Psa_22:21, Psa_7:2, Psa_17:12, Psa_35:17) ravening and a roaring lion (I Pet 5:8).
Psa 22:14 I am (Mat_26:38; Luk_22:44; Joh_12:27) poured out like water, and all (Psa_22:17; Dan_5:6) my bones are out of joint: my heart (Psa_68:2; Jos_7:5; Job_23:16; Mar_14:33-34) is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels (within me).
The crosses create a lot of issues to the human body.
Psa 22:15 My strength (Psa_32:3-4; Pro_17:22) is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth (Psa_69:3, Psa_69:21; Job_29:10; Lam_4:4; Joh_19:28) to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust (Psa_30:9, Psa_104:29; Gen_3:19, Gen_18:27; Job_7:21, Job_10:9, Job_34:15; Isa_53:12; Dan_12:2; Mat_27:50; 1Co_15:3) of death (Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread). (Psalms 23).
I thirst. Prior to the last lamb being killed, the High Priest says “I thirst”. At the same time as the High Priest said it, Yeshua on the cross said “I thirst.” When the last lamb died, the High Priest said” It is Finished.” And Yeshua said at the same time as the High Priest, “It is Finished” and gave up his ghost/spirit/Ruach/wind.
When we die, we become dust but our soul will be raised to everlasting life or everlasting contempt (death―the second death). It is believed by some that when we die, we are automatically raised at that time to everlasting life if we are saved. The other teaching is that on the day of the rapture, all saved at that time will be raised out of the dust and then those who are alive (I Cor 15:52; I Thess 4:16-18) shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye (first four stars coming out in the evening; Psa_59:6, Psa_59:14).
Psa 22:16 For dogs (enemies; Psa_59:6, Psa_59:14; Mat_7:6; Php_3:2; Rev_22:15)) have compassed me (Luk_11:53-54): the assembly (congregation; Mat_26:57; Mar_15:16-20; Luk_22:63-71, Luk_23:4-5, Luk_23:10-11; Luk_23:23) of the wicked (breakers up) have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
Pierced "As a lion [they break up] my hands and my feet".  It is better to translate the Hebrew text literally, and supply the Ellipsis of the verb from Isa_38:13, "they break up". The textual reading is kaari, "as a lion my hands and feet;" but several manuscripts, read karoo, and others karoo in the margin, which affords the reading adopted by our translators. So the LXX ωρυξαν χειρας μου και ποδας, so also the Vulgate, Syriac, Arabic, and Ethiopic; and as all the Evangelists so quote the passage, and apply it to the crucifixion of Christ, there seems scarcely the shadow of a doubt that this is the genuine reading; especially when it is considered, that the other contains no sense at all. The whole difference lies between ו, wav and י, yood, which might easily be mistaken for each other. Zec_12:10; Mat_27:35; Mar_15:24; Luk_23:33; Joh_19:23, Joh_19:37, Joh_20:25, Joh_20:27
In my God dream in 2007, I saw the holes in the wrists of Yeshua. He told me this in that dream: You are my beloved bride who I love. May my Shalom (Peace, wellnes, wholeness, one ness blissfulness/joy, etc up to 15 more deep layers) cover your body, soul, spirit, and mind for all of eternity.
Psa 22:17 I may (Isa_52:14) tell (count. The whole description applies to death by crucifixion only) all my bones: they look and stare (look for and see, Mat_27:36, Mat_27:39-41; Mar_15:29-32; Luk_23:27, Luk_23:35) upon me.
Psa 22:18 They part my garments (Mat_27:35. Mar_15:24. Luk_23:34. Joh_19:23-24) among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
Psa 22:19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD (Jehovah): O my strength, haste thee to help me.
Psa 22:20 Deliver my soul (Hebrew. Nephesh) from the sword; my darling (one Deut 6:4; Compare psuche. (Joh_12:27)) from the power (Hebrew hand, or paw) of the dog (enemy; Ps 22:16).
Psa 22:21 Save me from (Luk_22:53; Joh_14:30; 1Pe_5:8) the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me (answered me) from the horns of the unicorns (the bulls).
Satan and his minions live and survive in darkness and they come as dark clothed people who come to deceive, steal, kill, and destroy.
Psa 22:22 I will declare (Heb 2:12) thy name unto my brethren (Jhn 20:17): in the midst of the congregation (assembly: in its military aspect) will I praise thee.
Psa 22:23 Ye that fear (that stand in awe. Hebrew. Gur; revere. Referring to Israel. Hebrew. yarer the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify (Psa_50:23; Isa_25:3; Luk_2:20; 1Co_6:19-20, 1Co_10:31; Rev_15:4) him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
Psa 22:24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction (humiliation) of the afflicted (Patient One); neither (Luk_23:46) hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
Psa 22:25 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will (Psa_118:19-20) pay my vows before them that fear him.
Psalms 118 in the cross references refers to the Messianic Kingdom (Millennium).
Psa 22:26 The meek (the patient or wronged ones; Psa_69:32; Lev_7:11-17; Isa_25:6, Isa_65:13; Joh_6:48-58) shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your (Psa_69:32; Joh_4:14, Joh_6:51) heart shall live for ever.
Again this is a reference to the Millennium/Messianic Kingdom and also to those who seek the Lord.
Psa 22:27 All the ends (for the people dwelling in the farthest regions; Psa_2:8, Psa_72:8, Psa_72:11, Psa_86:9, Psa_98:3; Isa_45:22, Isa_46:8-9) of the (world earth. Hebrew. eretz) shall remember and turn (Act_14:15, Act_20:21, Act_26:18-20; Rom_16:26; 1Th_1:9) unto the LORD: and all (Psa_96:7, Psa_102:22, Psa_117:1; Rev_7:9-12, Rev_15:4) the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
Psa 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations. (Psa_47:7-8; Dan_7:14; Oba_1:21; Zec_14:9; Rev_11:15)
The Messianic Kingdom (millennium/Feast of Tabernacles) is the Lord's Kingdom forever and it begins in 2018 on the first Annual Sabbath Day of Feast of Tabernacles (Psalms 118:15; Rev 11:15).
Psa 22:29 All they that be (Psa_78:31; Isa_10:16) fat (All the great ones) upon earth shall (Psa_45:12, Psa_72:10-11; Isa_60:3-5, Isa_60:16; Rev_21:24) eat and worship: all they (Psa_113:7; Isa_26:19, Isa_29:4; Php_2:10; Rev_20:12-15) that go down to the dust shall bow (Isa_45:23; Rom_14:10-12) before him: and none (Even He cannot: reference to Mat_27:42; Psa_49:6-9; Hos_13:9; Joh_3:36, Joh_11:25-26) can keep alive his own soul (Hebrew. Nephesh).
The cross references refer to the Day of the Lord when the wrath of God is poured out with the rapture and axial poleshift and then the Trumpet and Bowl Judgments of Revelation. We also have the resurrection and the Bema Seat Judgments and the judgment of the dead at the end of the millennium.
Psa 22:30 A seed (My seed; Compare Isa 53:10; Isa_53:10; Heb_2:13) shall serve him; it shall (Psa_14:5, Psa_24:6, Psa_73:15, Psa_87:6; Mat_3:9; Gal_3:26-29; 1Pe_2:9) be accounted to the Lord for a generation (unto a generation that shall come).
The generation can be 38 years, 40, 50, 70, 80, 100, and 120 years/Jubilees
The reference may be alluding to the final generation of 1947/1948 +70 years =2017/2018.
Psa 22:31 They (Psa_78:6, Psa_86:9, Psa_102:18, Psa_145:4-7; Isa_44:3-5, Isa_49:21-23, Isa_54:1, Isa_60:4, Isa_66:7-9) shall come, and shall declare his righteousness (His righteousness shall be declared; Rom_1:17, Rom_3:21-25, Rom_5:19-21; 2Co_5:21) ) unto a people that shall be born (Referring to the new birth as declared by Christ to Nicodemus (Joh_3:3-7). Compare Eze_36:25-27), that he hath done this.
Over 250 prophecies were fulfilled at Yeshua/Jesus first coming. Since 1948, over 70 prophecies have been fulfilled so far. During the Day of the Lord, over 250 prophecies will be fulfilled.
Mat_5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Luk_24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
As I think upon the word righteousness, I am drawn back to Malachi 4.
The Great Day of the Lord
Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
Mal 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
Mal 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
Are you ready for the rapture in 2017 and the Day of the Lord to follow with the Trumpet and Bowl judgments of Revelation in 2018.
