1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not (continue in) in the counsel
of the ungodly, nor standeth (carry out) in the way/path of sinners,
nor sitteth (settleth down in) in the seat of the scornful (scoffers,
mockers) (Matt 13:30).
Psa
1:2 But his delight is in the law/instruction of the LORD; and in his
law doth he meditate day and night.
Psa
1:3 And he shall be (become/prove) like a tree planted by the rivers
of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also
shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psa
1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like (Psa_35:5; Job_21:18;
Isa_17:13, Isa_29:5; Hos_13:3; Mat_3:12) the chaff which the
wind/ruach driveth away.
Psa
1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand/rise in the judgment, nor
sinners (Mat_13:49, Mat_25:32, Mat_25:41, Mat_25:46) in the
congregation of the righteous. The ungodly will have No part in
first resurrection. Rev_20:5, Rev_20:6. The ungodly will have a part
at their judgment at the end of the 1000 year Millennium which is the
Second death and they will burn in the lake of fire and brimstone for
eternity.
Psa
1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way
(Psa_112:10, Psa_146:9; Pro_14:12, Pro_15:9; Mat_7:13; 2Pe_2:12)
of
the ungodly shall perish.

This
is one of the sublimest of the Psalms, and can find its fulfillment
only in our Lord. See Act_4:25; Act_13:33; Heb_1:5; Heb_5:5;
Rev_2:27. The mold in which the psalm is cast is highly dramatic.
Psa
2:1 Why do the heathen (nations, Kings, rulers, peoples) rage, and
the people (Rev 17:14) imagine a vain thing?
Psa
2:2 The kings (Psalm 110:5; Rev 17:12-14) of the earth set themselves
(stand themselves against), and the rulers take counsel together,
against the LORD, and against his anointed (Messiah; Isa 61:1-2),
saying, (Dan 9:25-26). Act_4:25-26.
The
wrath of the Lord shall come against the Kings of the Earth during
the Day of the Lord. The nations will be divided into ten kingdoms
with ten kings and during one year's time, Yeshua will come against
them with the Trumpet and Bowl judgments of Revelation. During this
time frame, 3 wars will occur which is the Euphrates River War, the
Psalms 83 War, and the Ezekiel 38-39 War which ends on the Day of
Atonement with Armageddon.
Psa
2:3 Let us break their (Messiah's/Lord's) bands asunder, and cast
away their cords from us.
Even
though the nations will try in all their might to get away from God,
His judgment will stand and He shall do as He pleases (Isa 46:9-10).
It will be a very dark year for the globe but in the end, God wins
and the earth is cleansed and the Messianic Kingdom will come for
1000 years.
The
Divine tranquility in Heaven.
Psa
2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens (Psa_11:4, Psa_68:33, Psa_115:3;
Isa_40:22, Isa_57:15, Isa_66:1) shall laugh: the Lord shall have them
in derision.
Psa
2:5 Then (Isa_11:4, Isa_66:6; Rev_1:16, Rev_19:15) shall he speak
unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore (Psa_110:5-6)
displeasure.
Psa
2:6 Yet (Psa_45:6, Psa_89:27, Psa_89:36-37, Psa_110:1-2; Isa_9:6-7;
Dan_7:13-14) have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion (city of
David; Jerusalem). South of Mount Moriah.
The
Manifesto of the Messiah
Psa
2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art
my Son; this day have I begotten thee (Joh_3:16; Heb_1:6). Reference
to Jesus Christ/the Messiah.
Psa
2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give (Rev_2:27; Rev_12:5; Rev_19:15) thee
the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the
earth for thy possession. This verse refers to the Day of the Lord or
the dispensation of judgment.
Psa
2:9 Thou shalt break them (rule/govern) with a rod (sceptre/ staff)
of iron (unbending authority); thou shalt dash them in pieces like a
potter's vessel. Psa_21:8-9,
Psa_89:23, Psa_110:5-6; Isa_30:14, Isa_60:12; Jer_19:11; Dan_2:44;
Mat_21:44; Rev_2:26-27, Rev_12:5 ; 19:15.
Psa
2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of
the earth.
Psa
2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Overtures
of Peace
Psa
2:12 Kiss (submit to, or be ruled by) the Son, lest he be angry, and
ye perish from the way, when (Psa_2:5; 2Th_1:8-9; Rev_6:16-17,
Rev_14:9-11) his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they
that put their trust in him.
We
are to prostrate ourselves before the Lord/ the King. We are to bow
down before Yehoshua.
The
Day of the Lord is a Day of terrible darkness for the globe. It is a
day and year of His vengeance.
