David was being pursued by Absalom. Being a military man himself, David finally began to take aggressive action. He divided his men into three separate armies and prepared to lead them into battle. For the time being, he had come to a place to stop running and turn to face the enemy. Have you ever been in this position? How many times in our lives do we avoid making an decision and taking a stand until there is no other alternative. People so often do this in regard to accepting salvation and the Lordship of the Messiah. Friend if you are still running from this decision, now is the time to turn and face this issue!
David also had a difficult time accepting advice from others. But in this case, he realized his men were right, and so he agreed, “whatever seems best to you, I will do”.
Even in this circumstance, David was concerned for others, including Absalom, his son. He therefore commanded his military leaders, Joab, Abishai, and Ittai to deal gently with Absalom. The rest of David's army also heard this charge.
However, in the battle that day, 20,000 men were killed and Absalom was one of those fatalities. As Absalom was riding his mule through the forest, he failed to see a low-hanging giant oak tree. His mule ran under the tree, and some of the branches caught Absalom's hair and jerked him off the mule, leaving him hanging helplessly. When Joab heard of Absalom's predicament, he wasted no time in hurrying to where Absalom was. He took three small spears and ran them through the hear of Absalom. With Absolom dead, Joab blew the trumpet to signal victory and end the battle. Absalom's body was taken and thrown into a pit in the forest, and a mound of stones was built over it. After learning what had happened to their leader, Absalom's army fled.
Joab sent the message to David relating what had occurred. There is an interesting story in II Samuel 18:19-33 concerning the two runners who took the message to David, and it holds a lesson for us also. Do we prefer to bear good news or bad news to people? There are those that know the good news of salvation, but never share it with anyone, but should they learn of some gossip, then they cannot wait until they can spread it. The message we bring by our tongue should be so carefully considered. The tongue is such a small member of the body, but can deliver such cruel blows against others.
When David was told of the death of Absalom, his response was “O my son Absalom! Would God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son!” (II Sam. 18:33b). The result of David's long past sin had brought this to pass, and David petitions the Lord on this sad occasion of his life.
The stories behind the Psalms by Dale Cain.
I am reminded of this: Exo_34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
Num_14:18 The LORD is long suffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
Psa 10:1 Why standest (Psa_22:1, Psa_46:1; Jer_14:8) thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest (Psa_13:1-3, Psa_27:9, Psa_30:7, Psa_44:24, Psa_88:14; Job_13:24, Job_23:9, Job_34:29) thou thyself in times of trouble (great time of tribulation)?
According to the time line we follow on the blog and in Psalms, the tribulation period began in 2007 on the Day of Trumpet and ran until 2017 Day of Atonement when the globe entered the Final Jubilee year when all of humanity dies. 2009 and 2010 ties back to 1947 (proclamation of Israel; Psalms 47) and 1948 when Israel became a nation (Matt 24:32; Psalms 48; Psalms 90:10; and Ezekiel Dry bones). Using 62 Weeks/Pentecosts from Daniel 9:25-27, we arrive at 2009 (Psalms 109) and 2010 (Psalms 110) on the 7th day of Feast of Tabernacles. The Antichrist line is based on 1947 and the Messiah line stems from 1948. 1947 and 1948 +1260 days to March 20-23rd, 2013 and First Red Blood Moon tetrad of 2014. 2013 and 2014 +1290 days equals events with Obama in 2016 and the Day of Trumpet time signatures around the Globe lining up and the Sept 23rd, 2017 Rev 12:1 sign on the only Sabbath of the Days of Awe which ties us back to the Sabbath in 2007 event during the Day of Awe with Leo on the Day of Trumpet.

Psa 10:2 The wicked (the lawless ones--rasha) in his pride doth persecute (hotly pursue) (Psa_31:18, Psa_36:11, Psa_59:12, Psa_119:5, Psa_119:69, Psa_119:85, Psa_119:122, Psa_140:5; Exo_9:17, Exo_18:11; Isa_10:12-13, Isa_14:13, Isa_14:16) the poor: let (Psa_7:16, Psa_9:15-16; Pro_5:22) them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
Right now the globe is experiencing an great persecution against the Jews and Christians around the globe. The globe at this time wants to blot them out of existence but we know God's calendar of events so we want to be on the winning side.
Lisa Haven posted on Beforeitsnews.com this:
“Christian Persecution – A religious persecution that Christians sometimes undergo as a consequence of professing their faith, both historically and in the current era. In the two thousand years of the Christian faith, about 70 million believers have been killed for their faith, of whom 45.5 million or 65% were in the twentieth century.” The New Persecuted.
Since the beginning of time, war has been waged against God and all those who believe in Him. Satan has made every allowable attempt to rid the world of believers and those who profess God as their one true Lord and Savior. Satan’s conquest to seek out believers forces us to consider that the battle is no figment of our imagination.
Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” 2 Timothy 3:12
The Scripture above promises that every believer will suffer persecution. In fact, this is exactly what we are witnessing today.
Persecution still remains a present day problem. Even though we may not be in the midst of the trials, they are still happening around us. In fact, America currently has a system intact that monitors religious freedom around the world, called Countries of Particular Concern (The CPC list), under the IRFA (International Religious Freedom Act). This executive summary places countries around the world into categories of concern. The countries contained in this list experience religious freedom restrictions of some sort. Currently, sixteen countries have been recommended for the CPC designation by the commission:

1-Burma – According to the CPC list, they have some of the world’s worst human rights abuses, including rape, torture, ethnic cleansing, conscription of child soldiers, and particularly severe religious freedom violations. Restrictions are placed on certain religious practices. Religious groups, including Christians, Muslims, and Buddhist monks are often faced with intrusive monitoring, arrest, mistreatment, destruction of property, severe restrictions on worship, education, and religious activities, and are targeted for violence.
2- China – The government restricts religious practices to government-sanctioned organizations. Unregistered groups experience harassment, imprisonment or can be put into labor camps.
3. Egypt- There are serious problems of discrimination, intolerance, and other violations against religious minorities. Military and security forces are known to use excessive force and live ammunition targeting Coptic Christian demonstrators and places of worship resulting in dozens of deaths and hundreds of injuries. The government also continues to prosecute, convict, and imprison Egyptian citizens charged with blasphemy.
4- Eritrea – They engage in systematic religious freedom violations. This includes torture, ill-treatment of people, arrests, and detentions. Hundreds of members of unregistered churches are said to be detained without charge, mistreated and tortured.
5- Iran – Islam is the main religion. There are ongoing severe violations of religious freedom including torture and executions. There is also prolonged detention based solely on the religion of the accused. They also discriminate their citizens based-off their religion.
6- Iraq – Severe abuse of religious freedom exists. Minority religious groups are targeted, violated and intimidated, as well as a large number of religious-motivated killings. Many people are leaving the country due to their violent stand on their Islamic beliefs.
7- Nigeria – Persistent religious violations occur. The government takes little or no intervention on acts of religious violence. In fact, they go as far as to permit religious violence.
8- North Korea – Government has strict control over their people, including their religious freedoms. Citizens are forced into a certain belief system and if they do not follow it, they can be tortured, publicly executed, imprisoned, and more. Many believers are put into labor camps. They have one of the worlds worst repressive regimes.
9- Pakistan – Religiously motivated violence persists. Laws against blasphemy remain, which stipulate life imprisonment for defamation of the Koran and a death sentence for blasphemy against Muhammad.
10- Saudi Arabia – No religious freedom exists, all citizens must adhere to Sunni Islam. Others are imprisoned, tortured, detained, etc. for engaging in other religious activities.
11- Sudan – The government considers itself an Islamic government, which severely restricts the religious practice of all other types of religion. They have violations of apostasy that could ultimately end up in the death penalty. Their restrictive Shari’ah law (Islamic law) attacks and threatens the Christian community. Acts of genocide have been known to take place.
12- Tajikistan – There are many violations of religious freedoms. The state suppresses and punishes all religious activity and imprisons individuals on unproven criminal allegations linked to religious affiliation.
13- Turkey – Any non-Muslim religion is persecuted.
14- Turkmenistan – Religious groups must be registered by the government. Many denominations, whether registered or not, often can’t rent places to worship and if they meet in an unapproved area, such as a private home, they are subject to police raids or court-imposed fines.
15- Uzbekistan – Strict laws on religion limit the ability of religious communities to function. Thousands are imprisoned and continue to be beaten or tortured in detention.
16- Vietnam – They restrict and penalize independent religious activity. The government continues to force renunciation of faith, harass, detain and discriminate religious communities.
Not only are these thirteen countries a concern, but the CPC has a watch list containing the following countries: Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, India, Indonesia, Laos, Russia, Somalia, and Venezuela. These countries are considered borderline and many eventually end up with aggressive religious persecution. Please note that persecution is not limited only to the above countries. In fact, more than 40 nations around the world experience some sort of Christian persecution.
All this to say, that persecution is happening, and just because we do not live in a country with a hostile environment, does not mean that we should be blind to the fact that these events are occurring. As people with religious freedoms, it is hard to grasp the concept of a mere alternative. Christ is unquestionably here and his presence is seen through the on-going battles that exist.
Whether you want to believe these events are happening or just push them under the rug is up to you, however, these events did occur and unfortunately are still occurring today. For we are getting close to the day that here in America we will suffer extreme persecution. It is at the door! Executive orders have been signed by our President, labor camps have been set up our government has stockpiled guns and ammo, Christians have been put on the terrorist list.
For the Bible tells us in the last days…
They will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.” Luke 21:12

Psa 10:3 For the wicked boasteth (Psa_35:21, Psa_49:6, Psa_52:1, Psa_73:8-9, Psa_94:4; Exo_15:9; Isa_10:7-11, Isa_37:23) of his heart's (soul's) desire, and blesseth(Psa_49:11-13, Psa_49:18; Deu_29:19) the covetous, whom (Isa_57:17; Jer_22:17; Mic_6:10-12; Hab_2:9; I Cor 6:10) the LORD abhorreth(Psa_5:6; Lev_26:30; Deu_32:19).
The primitive text of this line read, "the covetous man (or robber) blasphemeth, yea, abhorreth Jehovah" or or, the covetous blesseth himself, he abhorreth the Lord.

Psa 10:4 The wicked, through the pride (Psa_18:27, Psa_101:5; Pro_6:17, Pro_21:4, Pro_30:13; Isa_2:11, Isa_3:9) of his countenance, will not (Zep_2:3-one day=1 year) seek after God: God ((Psa_14:1, Psa_53:1; Eph_2:12-There is no God) is not in all his thoughts (Gen_6:5; Isa_59:7, Isa_65:2; Rom_1:21, Rom_1:28).

Psa 10:5 His (Gen_6:12) ways are always grievous; thy judgments (Isa_5:12, Isa_26:11, Isa_28:15, Isa_42:25) are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies (adversaries), he puffeth (despiseth) at them.
The Day of the Lord with the Trumpet and Bowl judgments are coming upon the world really fast but yet 99 percent of the world is asleep.

Psa 10:6 He hath said (Psa_14:1; Mat_24:48) in his heart, I shall not (Ecc_8:11; Isa_47:7; Nah_1:10; Mat_24:48; 1Th_5:3) be moved: for I shall never (generation to generation) be in adversity.

Psa 10:7 His mouth is full (Psa_59:12, Psa_62:4; Rom_3:14) of cursing and deceit (Psa_5:9, Psa_7:14, Psa_36:3, Psa_52:4, Psa_55:21, Psa_58:3, Psa_64:3; Isa_59:4; Jer_9:3, Jer_9:6; Rom_3:13) and fraud (bitterness—Rom 3:14) under his tongue is mischief (Psa_7:14, Psa_140:9; Job_15:35; Mat_12:34; Jas_3:6-8) and vanity (iniquity/sin Psa_12:2, Psa_41:6, Psa_144:8, Psa_144:11; Pro_21:6, Pro_30:8).

Psa 10:8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes (Psa_17:11; Pro_6:12-13; Jer_22:17) are privily set (hide themselves) against the poor (the weak ones). Today, these people wear all black clothing.

Psa 10:9 He lieth (Psa_17:12, Psa_59:3; Mic_7:2) in wait secretly (in secret places—mosques, Lam_3:10; Amo_3:4; Nah_2:11-12) as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch (Jer_5:26; Eze_19:3-6; Hab_1:15) the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

Psa 10:10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones (into his strong parts).

Psa 10:11 He hath said in his heart, God (Psa_64:5, Psa_73:11, Psa_94:7; Job_22:13-14; Ecc_8:11; Eze_8:12, Eze_9:9) hath forgotten (ompare Psa_10:12, and Psa_9:12, Psa_9:17, Psa_9:18): he hideth his face; he will never see it (Compare Psa_10:14).
God or one of His angels records in the book of life, the book of luke-warm, and the book of death everything we do, say, and write, and it is held accountable to us on our judgment day whether that be at the Bema seat or the judgment prior to going into the lake of fire and brimstone).

Psa 10:12 Arise (Psa_3:7, Psa_7:6, Psa_9:19), O LORD; O God, lift up (Psa_94:2; Isa_26:11, Isa_33:10; Mic_5:9) thine hand: forget not the humble (afflicted).
That day/Day of the Lord is coming upon us faster than a bullet, faster than a speeding train.

Psa 10:13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn (reproach, blaspheme; Psa_74:10, Psa_74:18) God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it (investigate; Gen_9:5; Luk_11:50-51).
This generation refers to the 1947/1948 generation which is in the year of 5778.

Psa 10:14 Thou hast (Pro_15:3; Jer_16:17, Jer_23:24; Heb_4:13) seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite (Jer_51:56; Joe_3:4) it with thy hand: the poor committeth (Heb. leaveth, Isa_10:3) himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
The Lord watches us day and night and seeth the good and the bad we do and recordeth it in the Book of Life, death, or in the book of luke-warm and He will judge the globe in the Day/Year of Visitation.

Psa 10:15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man (the evil one): seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

Psa 10:16 The LORD (Psa_29:10, Psa_93:1, Psa_145:13, Psa_146:10; Isa_33:22; Jer_10:10; Lam_5:19; Dan_4:34; Dan_6:26; 1Ti_1:17, 1Ti_6:15-16;
Rev_11:15) is King for ever and ever: the heathen (nations. Psa_9:5, Psa_9:15, Psa_18:43-45, Psa_44:2-3, Psa_78:55; Compare Psa_9:5, Psa_9:15) are perished out of his land.

Rev 20 Judgment Before the Great White Throne
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Psa 10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare (establish) their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
