The Timing of the Ezekiel 38-39 War

Daily Devotional Ezekiel 38:16

Eze 38:16  And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days (at the end of days)  and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. 

     Our verse describes a climactic war that will be initiated by Gog and Magog against God and Israel. This turbulent battle will usher in the Messianic Era. The Hebrew Scripture is full of references to the End Times and the coming of Mashiach (the Jewish messiah). The Mashiach will unify the Jewish people and gather all the exiles back to the holy land of Israel. He will rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem and revive the dead. The entire world will recognize the one true God, and the purpose of God’s creation on earth will be fulfilled.

     So in this article we are going to use many scripture references to look at the timing of the Ezekiel 38-39 War during the Day of the Lord which begins possibly September 20^th, 2017 to run until September of 2018.

     Psalm 118 will be a major player for 2018 so enjoy the ride folks.

Eze 38:19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; Revelation 8:5 has an earthquake which is global in nature. It may even be an axial pole shift. There was one on the Day of Atonement prior to the Flood beginning. Wrath refers to the Trumpet and Bowl Judgments of Revelation which is also known as fire.
Eze 38:20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. Again we see a great earthquake.
Eze 38:21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
Eze 38:22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Revelation 8:7 Meteorite storm that blankets 1/3rd of the Earth which is followed up by two asteroids.

Psalm 118 =2018.
Psa 118:5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. This is a reference to either Petra in 2018 or the Day of Trumpet in 2017 also known as the gathering/resurrection/rapture.
Psa 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
Psa 118:7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
Psa 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Psa 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
Psa 118:10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them. This is a reference to the Ezekiel 38-39 War which ends on the Day of Atonement with the Marriage of the Groom and Bride and then Armageddon (Joel 3).
Psa 118:11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
Psa 118:12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
Psa 118:13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
Psa 118:14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

     We know the timing of the war using the above verses.

Latter Days is only found in the Bible 12 times. Numbers 24:14; Deut 4:30; 31:29; Jer 23:30; 30:24; 48:47—Moab; 49:39—Elam; Ezekiel 38:8; 38:16; Dan 2:28; 10:14; Hos 3:5—Messianic Kingdom.

End of Days/End of the days: Isa 23:15 Tyre and 7 days to 70 years??; Dan 12:13

That Day is a reference to the Day of the Lord:

Ex 14:30—Israel being saved out of the Egyptians is a picture of us being saved from the hands of Satan and from Babylon.

Deu_31:17  Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?

Deu_31:18  And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.

Deu_32:35  To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

1Sa_3:12  In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.   This is a reference to the Philistines who are the Palestinian Arabs of today surrounding Israel from Syria, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Gaza and can I dare say most of Islam in Israel.
