There is a cluster of four psalms (67=1967; 123, 130 and 137) that are considered to be the captivity Psalms. They were written during the period of time that Babylon had overthrown and taken Judah into captivity. The authorship of these psalms is not known for certain. It could have been Ezekiel or Daniel or perhaps even Jeremiah. However, my personal choice would be to credit them to Daniel. The date I place them would be prior to the release of the first captives to return to Jerusalem and the date of 550 BCE. This would make Daniel 78 years of age. He would not be placed in the lion's den until 537 BCE. He would have been 91 years of age at the time he was placed in the lion's den according to the 6^th chapter of Daniel.

532 Sabbath Year (Shemitah); 18th Jubilee year (yovel יובל)

Daniel was a great man of prayer. Daniel 9 gives us very specific information concerning Daniel's prayer life. This was nearing the time that 70 year's of captivity was coming to an end and he, in reading Jeremiah (Jer_29:1, Jer_29:10 --70 years), realized that this was the end of that time. Daniel 9:20-27 records some of the most prolific of the prophetic messages in scripture. They need to be studied very carefully to understand the concept that is given to this prophecy. The prophecy that was given at that time is relative for us today.

The desolations of Jerusalem. 2Ch_36:21. The "desolations" had therefore lasted 42 (6 x 7) years, and had yet 28 (4 x 7) years to run before they were "accomplished". We find the same subdivisions of the "servitude"; for from the first year of Nebuchadnezzar to the decree of Artaxerxes (Astyages) was forty-two years; and from the decree to the end of the servitude was twenty-eight years.

1947+70 years = 2017/5777. 1948+70 years =2018/5778.

Gabriel Brings an Answer

Dan 9:20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; Dan 9:21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 9:22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. 9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

The Seventy Weeks

Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks/Pentecosts are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Seventy weeks = Seventy sevens: i.e. of years. Not on any "yearday" theory. If "days" had been intended, it would be so expressed, as in Dan_10:3 (compare Lev_25:8). Moreover, "years" had been the subject of Daniel’s prayer (Dan_9:2). The last "seven" is "one", and it is divided in half in Dan_9:27, and the half is three and a half years (Dan_7:25; Compare Dan_8:11-14; Dan_11:33). In Rev_11:2 this half is expressed by "forty-two months"; and in the next verse as" 1,260 days". The whole period is therefore 490 years.

2017-490 years = 1527 CE 60th Jubilee year (yovel)-490 years =1037 CE 50th Jubilee year-490 years =547 CE Sabbath Year (Shmita) 40th Jubilee year (yovel יובל) Sunshine returns after Krakatoa eruption-490= 57 CE 30th Jubilee year (yovel). If we keep going back every 490 years, we end up at the crossing of the Jordan river possibly in 1401-1406 BCE.

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (7 years), and threescore and two weeks (62 years): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Jerusalem. Not the Temple (as in Ezra), but the city (as in Nehemiah), which was the subject of Daniel’s prayer, and therefore the answer to it.

David and Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks (434 years) shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

seven weeks = forty-nine years (454 BC to 405 BC)

434 years +49 years = 483 years.

threescore and two weeks = 434 years (405 B. C-A.D. 29): the two together being 49 + 434 = 483 years; leaving seven years to make up the full 490 years of Dan_9:24.

9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (7 years): and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Using 1947 + 62 weeks/Pentecosts = 2009 CE (Psalms 109-The Antichrist out of Babylon the Great (USA)).

Daniel is credited with one other psalm written at the end of Daniel 9. It is Psalm 102.

Do Not Hide Your Face from Me

Psa 102:1 A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before (Psalm 95:2—presence) the LORD/Jehovah. Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.

Psa 102:2 Hide not thy face (Psalms 95:2) from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

    This reminds me of Psalms 118:10-14 when Israel is surrounded by all its enemies and the land will be in fear so they will be crying out to be rescued. This is at the end of the Psalms 83 War (Zech 1,2,12, 13) which ends on the Day of Trumpet found in Zech.

Day of the Lord/Day of Darkness and Distress/ Day of Trumpet and Alarm

Psa 102:3 For my days (Psalm 37:20) are consumed like smoke, and my bones (Psa_22:14-15, Psa_31:10, Psa_38:3; Job_30:30; Lam_1:13) are burned as an hearth (charred wood).

    Day of the Lord is a day of Darkness and distress. Rev 19:11 refers to Armageddon.

Day of Trumpet to Day of Atonement over a one year period for the Trumpet and Bowl Judgments of Revelation. The rapture can be before the Trumpet Judgments or the Bowl Judgments. The Bowl Judgments can begin at Feast of First Fruits or Pentecost or even the Day of Trumpet.

    The window for Sun of Righteousness (Nibiru) is 2015-2020, but a closer one is 2017-2018, January to October, January to April, May to October. The Trumpet and Bowl judgments can be poured out over a 7 month period, 8.5 month period, 9 month period or even a 12 month period. Matthew 24 says these days are shorten for the sake of the Elect so that refers to one year or less and not 7 years as Christians teach. The last 3.5 years is shorten to one year. For one year we have: The Flood; Exodus Plague 1-10 (5.5 months) to Pentcost =8.5 months; Deut 24:5; Isa 34:8; Isa 61:1-2; Isa 63:4; Psalms 117-118; Jhn 6:39, 40, 44, 54 where last day = last year. Axial pole shift is on the Day of Rapture or Day of Trumpet 10 days before Armageddon which is on the Day of Atonement (Psalms 118:10-13; Rev 16/19) but Rev 6:12-17; Isa 24:1 is the wrath of God and this is before the Trumpet Judgments of Revelation. This coinsides with the Day of Rapture.

    The Day of the Lord began on the Day of Trumpet in 2017 and ends on the Day of Atonement in 2018 according to Isaiah with Armageddon (Psalms 118:10-14). Stars Fall, Burning Stone, Millstone, Plague of Hail, axial poleshift and many other events over an 8.5 month period.

    The Sun is 5778 Kelvin in heat which is 9941 Fahrenheit. The Prime Factors of 5778: 2 x3 x107 For example, 5778 can be divided by 2: 5778 / 2 = 2 889.

1918 WWI +100 years =2018 WWIII Day of Atonement is Armageddon.

1948+70 years (Psalms 90:10) = 2018/5778.

    2018 CE Deut 32:25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs. War (Ezekiel 38-39 War?) ends on the Day of Atonement with Marriage of the groom and Bride and then Armageddon. There are 5 days of grace and then the Messianic Kingdom/Millennium begins (Psalm 118:15). Some believe the great tribulation ends here and the Millennial Temple is dedicated by Yeshua at Chanukkah.

Psa 102:4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread (food in general).

A Day of Famine for the globe. Two famines going. One is on the Word and one is food.

Psa 102:5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin (flesh).

Psa 102:6 I am like a pelican (unclean bird) of the wilderness: I am like an owl (unclean bird) of the desert. Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

We are unclean to the flesh.

Psa 102:7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone (flitting to and fro) upon the house top.

    Watchmen on the wall watch for the coming of the Son of Man And shall sound the alarm of His coming.

Mat_24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Mat_24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Psa 102:9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,

Psa 102:10 Because (Psa_90:7-9; Dan_9:8-14) of (from the face of thy presence (Psalms 95:2)) thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

Wrath is found in Rev 6:12-17 prior to the Trumpet Judgments and Rev. 16 prior to the Bowl Judgments.

Psa 102:11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

Psa 102:12 But thou (Emphasizing the great consolation), O LORD, shalt endure (Sittest, or wilt sit [enthroned]) for ever; and thy remembrance (thy throne) unto all generations.

Tishrei 2018 Second Coming.

Psa 102:13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy (compassion, loving kindness, grace) upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time (First, the end of the seventy years (Dan_9:2. Neh_2:17-20; Neh_3:1-32); and second, the still future set time in God’s counsels. All this is prophecy. No need to think it was written after Jerusalem’s desolation. David was a prophet (Act_2:30, Act_2:31). Compare Isa_40:2; Isa_61:2), is come.

1947 (Psalms 47)+70 years (Psalms 90:10) =2017 (Psalms 117). 1948 (Psalms 48) +70 years = 2018 (Psalms 118).

Psalms 118 Second Coming Day of Trumpet (118:5), Day of Atonement (118:10-13; Rev 16/19), Feast of Tabernacles (118:15; Rev 20-21).

Psa 102:14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones (the restored buildings), and favour (mercy, grace, loving kindness) the dust thereof. Psa_79:1, Psa_79:7-10; Dan_9:16

Psa 102:15 So the heathen/nations shall fear the name (Yah) of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory (Always mentioned in connection with Messiah’s sufferings. Compare verses: Psa_102:1-12).

Psa 102:16 When the LORD shall build up Zion (Israel; Jerusalem), he shall (Zec_2:6-13) appear in his glory (This shows that all is prophetic. Compare Isa_60:1-3). Psalms 118 Second Coming Day of Trumpet (118:5), Day of Atonement (118:10-13; Rev 16/19), Feast of Tabernacles (118:15).

Psa 102:17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

Psa 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created (the new Israel (Psa_22:31. Isa_43:1-7, Isa_43:18-21; Isa_66:8). This is the new nation referred to in Mat_21:43) shall praise the LORD (Jah/Yah).

Psa 102:19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary (His Holy height/the third Heaven); from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;

Psa 102:20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death (the sons of death. Genitive of Relation. The Hebrew word for "death" occurs only here and Psa_79:11. It is feminine, as though the mother. Compare Rom_8:36);

Psa 102:21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

Millennium (Sept 24^th, 2018-3018)

Psa 102:22 When (Psa_22:27; Psa_68:32. Isa_45:14. Fulfilling Gen_49:10; Jer 31:31-36; Zec_8:20-23) the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

Psa 102:24 I said, O my God (Eli=my El), take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

Psa 102:25 Of old (Quoted in Heb_1:10-12, which shows this Psalm is all prophetic of Messiah) hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

Psa 102:26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

Psa 102:27 But thou art the same (He. Compare Isa_41:4; Isa_43:10), and thy years shall have no end.

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not (Reference to Pent (Num_23:19). Not in Himself, nor in His purpose, to change His dealings on the conditions stated); therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Psa 102:28 The children/sons of thy servants shall continue (shall dwell [in the Land]), and their seed shall be established before thee.
