Passage of Psalm 113
6 pages
The
last section of Psalms is known as the post-captivity psalms. These
are psalms that were written from the time of the exiles returning to
Jerusalem from Babylon to the time of the dedication of the temple
and walls in 444 BCE. There are 3 books that deal with this portion
of history of the Jews. They ae Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther. These
books tell the story of the Jews return from Babylon and the
rebuilding of the temple at Jerusalem, as well as re-establishment
of the Jews national life in their homeland. They cover approximately
100 years.
Ezra
was on the scene in the last phases of this history and is the
recorder of it. Being a priest, Ezra was familiar with chronology and
recounts the various events of this history through recorded events
as well as writing the psalms that deal with the victorious time of
Jerusalem's restoration. There are three periods of time that the
Jews return from Babylon to Jerusalem, 536 BCE, 457 BCE and 444 BCE.
The first group of psalms deals with the first return and ar
explained in Ezra 1:1-4. Ezra records the first year of Cyrus, king
of Persia, as he allows the Jews freedom again to become a nation and
to think of national pride. It had been more than 150 years earlier
that Isaiah prophesied that Cyrus of Persia would allow the Jews this
freedom. It must always be taken into consideration that God's Word
is true and will come to pass. Even in the darkest part of the
history of the Jews, there was that glimmer of hope of what God had
spoken would come to pass. Even in the times of our distress, we must
not lose that glimmer of hope but always trust in the Lord knowing
that what He has said will indeed come to pass. Ezra reviews this
initial hope for the Jews as Cyrus comes to power and prepares a way
for them to return to their homeland. This hope is expressed in
Psalms 85 and 126.
The
following year Ezra writes Psalm 87.
Chapter
3 of Ezra moves us up to the year of 535 BCE and the laying of the
foundation of the temple and psalms 66, 84, and 107.
Ezra
4 brings a new thought to us. The mixed people known as the
Samaritans, who were of the Northern Kingdom, originally Israel,
became the adversary of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. This
condition brought a delay to the building of the temple. This delay
lasted 15 years until Darius became king over Persia at the death of
Cambyses. Psalm 125 speaks of this wickedness.
Cambyses
reigned from 532-522 BCE. Darius I reigned from 522-485 BCE. When
Darius reigned, the temple was rebuilt, which is told to us in Ezra 4
and 5. Two more prophets were brought in to this time frame for the
completion of the temple. They were Haggai and Zechariah.
Satan
was very active in this time frame to slow the completion of the
temple. Satan will use any person, such as Obama, who will allow
himself to be used in opposition to God's work. Most of the time
these people do not even realize what Satan is doing in using them to
oppose God's forward productivity. Sometimes God must spur us on to
His business.
In
529 BCE the work on the temple was suspended for 7 years. This is
found in Ezra 4:23-24. Psalm 129 gives us insight into the feelings
of the people during this period of time while they tried to carry on
God's work.
The
temple was completed March 3, 517 BCE This is recorded for us in Ezra
6:15. In April of 516 BCE, the dedication of the temple was held.
Ezra 6:16-22 tells us of the dedication and the passover celebration
enjoyed in the new temple. This praise is shown in the writings of
psalm 146, 111, 112, 113, 116 and 117.

Anti-Christ UNVEILED: The Sun Rising in the West
Obama: No matter what happens, the sun will rise in the morning.
President
Obama addressed the nation on Election Day in a BuzzFeed video posted
on Twitter. He told Americans that "no matter what happens, the
sun will rise in the morning."
President Obama: "The sun (Islam) will rise in the morning"
President Obama has a message to Americans: The sun will, in fact, come out tomorrow.
In
an election night of 2016 message he recorded for BuzzFeed News,
Obama sought to sooth any angst among voters as they cast ballots on
Tuesday after what's been a contentious presidential race between
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
"This
has been an exhausting, stressful and sometimes downright weird
election for all of us," Obama said. "We've been through
tough and divisive elections before and we've always come out
stronger for it."

113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the
LORD'S name is to be praised.

In
March of 2013, 1260 days from Psalm 109, 2009 events, Obama went to
Israel between March 20th-23rd, 2013 where he did 7 events
that the Messiah would do. 1290 days would bring us to September to
December events in 2016 with Obama.
At
that time frame, Israel accepted him as their Messiah.

113:1 Praise ye the LORD/Hallelu-JAH (Psalm 112:1). Praise, O ye
servants of the LORD/JAH, praise the name (Psalm 20:1) of the
LORD/Jehovah.
The
third of these three Hallelujah Psalms (111, 113). The Psalms of this
group are called the Hallel Psalms (113-118). Psalms 113 and 114 were
sung before the Paschal meal (but after the second of the four cups
of wine); 115, 118 after it. The last probably sung by the Lord Jesus
(Mat_26:30).
This
and the following five Psalms form what is called by the Hebrews the
great Hallel, or praise; which was sung on their most solemn
festivals, and particularly after the celebration of the Passover.
(See Mat_26:30. Mar_14:26.) This and the following were probably
composed after the return from the captivity.
Psa
112:1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
We
are to praise the Lord in everything.

113:3 From the rising of the sun (Isa 59:19; Mal 1:11) unto the going

everything.

113:4 The LORD is high (Psa_97:9, Psa_99:2;
Isa_40:15, Isa_40:17, Isa_40:22) above all

The
cross references refer to our baptism and resurrection when we were
saved and some of them refer to the resurrection after death and to
our judgment before the Messiah (Dan 12:2-3) prior to the Day of

at the end of the millennium.

113:9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house (dwell in an house) ,
and to be a joyful mother of children/sons. Praise ye the LORD.
There
is a possibility that Psalm 116 will tie to Psalm 113 here: Psa
116:10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
Psalm
116 – Representing 2016 – Daniel’s Final Week of Tribulation = 6 Year
Approximately six years will now be completed of Daniel’s final week. The earth will be weary, and those left will be drastically reduced in number. Those who have come to faith during this period, both in Israel and in the gentile lands, will also have faced severe persecution. Zachariah speaks how 2/3 of the nation of Israel will be cut off during this time. Revelation speaks of those loosing their lives on behalf of the Lamb as being “countless” (reference Revelation Chapter 7). This is mentioned for in Psalm 116 is one of the most somber and sweet verses in scripture. Look at verse 15: “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” The antichrist will be in full rage against God’s people at this time, and especially towards the nation of Israel. It is likely most will have fled to the wilderness by now. Look at verse 3: “The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.” But in the midst of all this, Psalm 116 speaks of how the Lord still watches over those who call upon him, and how the Lord protects the simplehearted and gives rest to those who are dismayed.

Revelation
2:10 had 10 days of tribulation which can mean 10 years of
Tribulation which began in 2007 and ended in 2017. 1947 and 1948+ 62
Pentecosts/weeks = 2009 (Psalm 109) and 2010 (Psalm 110). 2016 ends
the Antichrist portion in the Fall to winter of 2016.
At this point, the Antichrist is the 6th king and will become the 8th king in 2018 after the rapture.
