Sabbath Elul 18 and Isaiah 60

Sabbath Elul 18 and Isaiah 60
The Day of the Lord .  Elul 18. Sabbath. Deut 26:1-29:8; Isa 60:1-22. Mercury at Regulus in Leo. Jupiter at Spica.
Virgin:  In a prophecy concerning our Lord, Isaiah (7:14) says, "A virgin [R.V. marg., 'the virgin'] shall conceive, and bear a son" (comp. Luke 1:31-35). The people of the land of Zidon are thus referred to by Isaiah (23:12), "O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon;" and of the people of Israel, Jeremiah (18:13) says, "The virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing."
Coming of Christ:  (1.) with reference to his first advent "in the fulness of the time" (1 John 5:20; 2 John 7), or (2.) with reference to his coming again the second time at the last day (Acts 1:11; 3:20, 21; 1 Thess. 4:15; 2 Tim. 4:1; Heb. 9:28). The expression is used metaphorically of the introduction of the gospel into any place (John 15:22; Eph. 2:17), the visible establishment of his kingdom in the world (Matt. 16:28), the conferring on his people of the peculiar tokens of his love (John 14: 18, 23, 28), and his executing judgment on the wicked (2 Thess. 2:8).
Agriculture became indeed the basis of the Mosaic commonwealth. The year in Palestine was divided into six agricultural periods:-

I. SOWING TIME MONTHS. Tisri, latter half [beginning about the autumnal equinox.] Early rain due = first showers of autumn. Marchesvan. Kisleu, former half.
II. UNRIPE TIME Kisleu, latter half. Tebet. Sebat, former half.
III. COLD SEASON Sebat, latter half. Adar. [Veadar.] Nisan, former half.] Latter rain due (Deut. 11:14; Jer. 5:24; Hos. 6:3; Zech. 10:1; James 5:7; Job 29:23).
IV. HARVEST TIME MONTHS. Nisan, latter half. (Beginning about vernal equinox. Barley green. Passover.) Ijar. Sivan, former half., Wheat ripe. Pentecost.
V. SUMMER (total absence of rain) Sivan, latter half. Tammuz. Ab, former half.
VI. SULTRY SEASON Ab, latter half. Elul. Tisri, former half., Ingathering of fruits.

The six months from the middle of Tisri to the middle of Nisan were occupied with the work of cultivation, and the rest of the year mainly with the gathering in of the fruits.
The wheat sometimes produced an hundredfold (Gen. 26:12; Matt. 13:23). Figs and pomegranates were very plentiful (Num. 13:23), and the vine and the olive grew luxuriantly and produced abundant fruit (Deut. 33:24).
Harvest:  the season for gathering grain or fruit. On the 16th day of Abib (or April) a handful of ripe ears of corn was offered as a first-fruit before the Lord, and immediately after this the harvest commenced (Lev. 23:9-14; 2 Sam. 21:9, 10; Ruth 2:23). It began with the feast of Passover and ended with Pentecost, thus lasting for seven weeks (Ex. 23:16). The harvest was a season of joy (Ps. 126:1-6; Isa. 9:3). This word is used figuratively Matt. 9:37; 13:30; Luke 10:2; John 4:35.

Virgo was often drawn with a staff or rod in her right hand and an ear of wheat in her left hand.
Sceptre:  (Heb. shebet = Gr. skeptron), properly a staff or rod. As a symbol of authority, the use of the sceptre originated in the idea that the ruler was as a shepherd of his people (Gen. 49:10; Num. 24: 17; Ps. 45:6; Isa. 14:5). There is no example on record of a sceptre having ever been actually handled by a Jewish king.
Yoke:  (1.) Fitted on the neck of oxen for the purpose of binding to them the traces by which they might draw the plough, etc. (Num. 19:2; Deut. 21:3). It was a curved piece of wood called 'ol. (2.) In Jer. 27:2; 28:10, 12 the word in the Authorized Version rendered "yoke" is motah, which properly means a "staff," or as in the Revised Version, "bar." These words in the Hebrew are both used figuratively of severe bondage, or affliction, or subjection (Lev. 26:13; 1 Kings 12:4; Isa. 47:6; Lam. 1:14; 3: 27). In the New Testament the word "yoke" is also used to denote servitude (Matt. 11:29, 30; Acts 15:10; Gal. 5:1).
Wheat:  one of the earliest cultivated grains. It bore the Hebrew name hittah, and was extensively cultivated in Palestine. There are various species of wheat. That which Pharaoh saw in his dream was the Triticum compositum, which bears several ears upon one stalk (Gen. 41:5). The "fat of the kidneys of wheat" (Deut. 32:14), and the "finest of the wheat" (Ps. 81:16; 147: 14), denote the best of the kind. It was exported from Palestine in great quantities (1 Kings 5:11; Ezek. 27:17; Acts 12:20). Parched grains of wheat were used for food in Palestine (Ruth 2:14; 1 Sam. 17: 17; 2 Sam. 17:28). The disciples, under the sanction of the Mosaic law (Deut. 23: 25), plucked ears of corn, and rubbing them in their hands, ate the grain unroasted (Matt. 12:1; Mark 2:23; Luke 6:1). Before any of the wheat-harvest, however, could be eaten, the first-fruits had to be presented before the Lord (Lev. 23: 14).
Once the wheat was fully grown, it would bow down to the earth leaving the tares standing up. The tares were first cut off and then the wheat was gathered into the barn for thrashing.
We have learned that Jupiter is the King planet and represents Yeshua as our King.
Song: The King is Coming, Oh the King is Coming, Praise God the King is Coming Now.
The marketplace is empty, No more traffic in the streets,
All the builders' tools are silent, No more time to harvest wheat,
Busy housewives cease their labors, In the courtroom no debate,
Work on earth has been suspended As the King comes thro' the gate.
O the King is coming, The King is coming!
I just heard the trumpets sounding, And now His face I see,
O the King is coming, The King is coming!
Praise God, He's coming for me!

Presently He is coming but by the time of the Day of the Lord, He has arrived on October 3rd to bring the judgments of God upon the world. Some teach that the Trumpet and Bowl Judgements of God is the Wrath of God while others teach that the Bowl Judgments are the wrath of God. Some teach the bowl judgments are poured out in the last 7 months before the Day of Atonement and Armageddon while others teach that the Bowl Judgments are the last 10 days before Armageddon.
We have learned that Yom Kippur begins the Day of the Lord with a global earthquake (axial pole shift). Now this day can be on the Regular Sabbath of Sept 30th which is the Rabbinic Day of the Lord and the Biblical Yom Kippur is on October 2/3rd. On Sept 30th  Venus, Mars, and Regulus in Leo is in line with Mercury, Sun,  and Jupiter in Virgo. Jupiter is still in the birth canal of Virgo and has not left the knees. On October 3rd, Mars and Venus is at the back feet of Leo and are close to each other holding hands but not kissing (conjoined). The race is on for the birth of Jupiter. It is not until Shemini Atzeret (the 8th day) on the Rabbinic Calendar that Jupiter exits the line of Virgo on the legs and is now born. Asteroid 2012 TC 4 can be Wormwood so this is a heads up of watching. There is the possibility of the first Trumpet Judgment at this time but I still suggest that it will be on the first sliver of the New Moon. Here is an interesting note. The Solar eclipse of 4/29/2014 +1260 days is on Sukkot Day 6 on the Rabbinic calendar.
Isa 60:1  Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
God is light, Yeshua is our light of the world and God’s Law is the light of our lives and shall prevail.  Gen_1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. God’s Shechinah glory lit the universe until there were the Sun, Moon, and stars to light our paths.    In the Hebrew, there is a Menorah in Gen 1:3. Psa_18:28  For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. Psa_27:1  A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psa_119:105  NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Mal 4:4  Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Mal 4:1  For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2  But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
We know that Nibiru/Planet X will be bringing in the Trumpet Judgments of the Lord for the first 5 months and WWIII (Nuclear war) will bring in the Bowl Judgments of the Lord for the last 7 months of the year of the Lord.

Isa 60:2  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
Job_3:4  Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
During the Day of the Lord, the light of God menorah is not going to be shining. The Holy Spirit has been removed.
Job_10:22  A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.
Job_12:22  He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
Job_12:25  They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
Job_17:12  They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.
Job_18:5  Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
Job_18:6  The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
Job_18:18  He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

Isa 60:3  And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.  We can expect a great growth at this time for God’s Church in the Messianic Kingdom but these people will still go through the Trumpet Judgements of the Lord and many will die by beheading and the sword. The greatest revival the earth shall ever sees comes at this time.
Isa 60:4  Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
Isa 60:5  Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea (nations of people)  shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
Isa 60:6  The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
Isa 60:7  All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
Isa 60:8  Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
Isa 60:9  Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
Isa 60:10  And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
Isa 60:11  Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

Separation of the Sheep and Goats
The Sheep nations are those who follow the Lord and are on the right side of the Lord and they will be guests in the Messianic Kingdom but the Goat nations who are separated to the left of the Lord in Matt 25 will perish and burn in the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity. Isa 60:12  For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
Isa 60:13  The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
Isa 60:14  The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Yeshua is Lord over all. Isa_45:23  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Rom_14:11  For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Php_2:10  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
We are reminded here of the sons of Jacob bowing to Joseph their brother.
Isa 60:15  Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
Isa 60:16  Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
Isa 60:17  For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.

The Millennium
Jeremiah 31:31-36 and many other passages in the Torah and Tanakh.
Isa 60:18  Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
Isa 60:19  The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
Isa 60:20  Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
Isa 60:21  Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
Isa 60:22  A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
2Co_13:11  Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

May the Shalom of God that passes all understanding cover your body, soul, spirit, and mind for all of eternity. Amen.
