September 3rd, 2016 Astronomy Sabbah Event on Re'eh which means "See"!

Sept 3 2016 Astronomy Sabbath Event on Re’eh which means "See"!

Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Luk 21:26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Signs in the sun, moon and stars. Understand this to refer to the Great Day of Adonai (Joe_3:1-5 (Joe_2:28-32), Isa_13:9-10).

Sept 3rd  Rosh Chodesh  (First sliver of the New Moon).
Psa_81:3  Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Isa_66:23  And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Eze_46:1  Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

Ḥōdhesh, “new moon,” meaning “new,” “fresh.” As the Hebrews reckoned their months from the actual first appearance of the young crescent, chodhesh is most frequently translated “month.” Thus “In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month” (Gen_7:11), and in the great majority of cases, the word for month is ḥōdhesh, “new moon.” In Isa_66:23, “from one new moon to another,” should be literally, “from new moon to new moon.” Once it is rendered “monthly” (Isa_47:13), when it is used to denote the astrologers who fixed the omens of the opening month. Ḥōdhesh, therefore, when translated “new moon” is not a designation of the actual heavenly body, but denotes the first day of the month. It is a term directly or indirectly connected with the calendar.

The periodical changes of the moon are its ordinances (Jer_31:35). It was also appointed for “seasons” (Psa_104:19), that is, for religious assemblies or feasts (mō‛ădhı̄m). Two of these were held at the full of the moon, the Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles; one at the new moon, the Feast of Trumpets; but the ordinary new moon did not rank among the great “appointed feasts” (mō‛ădhı̄m). As light-giver, assisting men in their labors with the flock and in the field and helping them on their journeys; as time-measurer, indicating the progress of the months and the seasons for the great religious festivals, the moon was to the pious Hebrew an evidence of the goodness and wisdom of God.

The pre-exilic Hebrews celebrated the Sabbath (Num_28:9, Num_28:10; Lev_23:1-3) and the New Moon (Num_10:10; Num_28:11-15).

On the morning of Saturday, September 3rd, the +11.5 magnitude asteroid 51 Nemausa occults a +7.6 mag star (HIP 8524). The maximum duration of the event along the centerline is expected to be 32 seconds in duration, with a maximum drop of four magnitudes. Said shadow will cross western Canada at9:42 UT, and the U.S. crossing runs from 9:49 to 9:55 UT. The action takes place in the constellation Pisces (see below). The Moon phase is a slim 4% waxing crescent during the event.

September 3 – Neptune at Opposition. The blue giant planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. It will be brighter than any other time of the year and will be visible all night long. www.seasky.org/astronomy/astronomy-calendar-2016.html

If Planet X is ontime this time around, it is 40 days out from now and is the size of Mercury approximately.
