Elul (Hebrew: אֱלוּל, Standard Elul

is the twelfth month of
the Jewish
civil year and the sixth month of the ecclesiastical year on the Hebrew calendar.
In the Jewish tradition,
the month of Elul is a time of repentance
in preparation for the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah
and Yom Kippur.
The word “Elul” is similar to the root of the verb “search” in Aramaic.
The Talmud writes that the Hebrew word "Elul" can be expanded as an
acronym for "Ani L'dodi V'dodi Li" - "I am my beloved's and my
beloved is mine" (Song of Solomon 6:3). Elul is seen as a time to search
one's heart and draw close to God in preparation for the coming Day of Judgement,
Rosh Hashanah,
and Day of Atonement, Yom
Kippur.
During the month of
Elul, there are a number of special rituals
leading up to the High Holy Days. It is customary
to blow the shofar every
morning (except on Shabbat)
from Rosh Hodesh
Elul (the first day of the month) until the day before Rosh Hashanah. The
blasts are meant to awaken one's spirits and inspire him to begin the soul
searching which will prepare him for the High Holy Days. As part of this
preparation, Elul is the time to begin the sometimes-difficult process of
granting and asking for forgiveness.
It is also customary to recite Psalm
27 every day from Rosh Hodesh Elul
through Hoshanah Rabbah on Sukkot
(in Tishrei).

According to tradition, the month of Elul is the
time that Moses
spent on Mount Sinai preparing the second set of tablets after the incident of
the golden calf (Ex. 32; 34:27-28). He ascended on Rosh Chodesh Elul and
descended on the 10th of Tishri, at the end of Yom Kippur, when repentance was
complete. Other sources say that Elul is the beginning of a period of 40 days
that Moses prayed for G-d to forgive the people after the Golden Calf incident,
after which the commandment to prepare the second set of tablets was given.
1st of Elul: The second "new year" is on
the 1st of Elul, the sixth month of the Hebrew calendar which usually falls in
the late summer (August). According to the Mishnah this was the new year for
animal tithes. It was used to determine the start date for the animal tithe to
the priestly class in ancient Israel, similar to how we use April 15th in the
US as tax day. Generally this new year is no longer observed, although the
month of Elul does mark the beginning of preparations for Rosh Hashanah.

August 19th, 2016 possibility of the Temple being put onto the Temple Mount by God ties into the Sept 28th (40 days) showing of Nibiru bringing chaos onto the globe and at 127 days forward it ties into December 24th which is the ninth month and 24th day of Haggai 2 which is a possible axial pole shift and other events tied to the Temple, I think.
Going backwards in time,
it ties to 5 plants in a row between January 20th and February 20th event.
Counting forward from February 20th, we have 80th day and 100th day. August 19
minus 70 and 80 days lands us on May 31 (Blue Moon Sabbath; 12 days prior to
Pentecost on June 12th) and May 11 which is one day off from the February 20th 80th
and 100th day.
