The Significance of Number 3 and Day of the Lord (April 8)

The Significance of Number 3 and Day of the Lord.
7 pages

Dec 9th with the birth of Venus, the bright morning star in Virgo to April 8th New moon is 120 days which is 4 x 30.
December 9th was Rosh Chodesh (9/10) and the 7th day of Chanukkah.

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 120
The number 120 can symbolize a divinely appointed time of waiting. After God saw how sinful and dedicated to evil man had become after the garden of Eden, he determined a one hundred and twenty year period would be given for repentance and then the flood waters would come (Genesis 6:1 - 3).

The meaning of the number 120 is seen in its Exodus role when Israel left Egyptian bondage. Scripture states that the Israelites who left Egypt had 600,000 men (Exodus 12:37). When the Egyptians heard about their former slaves leaving the country they complained to Pharaoh, who then amassed 600 chariots to pursue the children of Israel (14:5 - 7). 600,000 is 120 times 5,000 and 600 is 120 times 5.

We also find 120 playing a part in the Book of Revelation. In the end time, God will save 12,000 from each of the tribes of Israel for 144,000 (120 x 1,200) total (Revelation 7).

Appearances of the number one-hundred twenty
After Jesus' resurrection and ascension to heaven, 120 disciples that were gathered in Jerusalem chose a successor to Judas Iscariot (who committed suicide) to be among the special eleven disciples who were witnesses of Christ's entire ministry (Acts 1:14 - 26).

How is the number 120 related to captivity?
One hundred and twenty is a factor in the number of Kingdom of Judah captives who returned to Jerusalem and the land of Palestine from Babylon. According to the book of Ezra, 42,360 captives (120 x 353) came back to resettle the land (Ezra 2:1, 64).

Additional info on the Biblical Meaning of 120
When Ezra the prophet came back from Babylonian captivity, He determined that the only way he could keep the knowledge of God active for the Jews was to have copies of the Scriptures. These copies would be sent to every synagogue in the world.
In order to do this he first had to collect all the manuscripts purported to be inspired. He then had to determine which ones actually were inspired by God, edit them, correct any mistakes, arrange them in a proper order and so on. To aid him in this monumental task Ezra decided to create what is known as the Great Synagogue (or Great Assembly).

The Great Synagogue, with Ezra as the leader, was a group of 120 Jewish elders who led the effort to officially collect and edit the writings that would become what we call the Old Testament.

" . . . Ezra the priest - assisted by the priests and Levites of the Great Assembly or Synagogue - completed the final editing and canonization of the Old Testament Scriptures . . . " (HBFV, Second Edition, page 4)

The canonization (the collecting of writings to be considered authoritative and definitive) of the Old Testament scriptures occurred in the late fifth century B.C. After Ezra died, the Great Synagogue continued for only about another 100 years.

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 4
The number 4 derives its meaning from creation. On the fourth day of what is called 'creation week' God completed the material universe. On this day he brought into existence our sun, the moon, and all the stars (Genesis 1:14 - 19). Their purpose was not only to give off light, but also to divide the day from the night on earth, thus becoming a basic demarcation of time. They were also made to be a type of signal that would mark off the days, years and seasons.

Interestingly, the Hebrew word for 'seasons' in Genesis 1:14 is moed (Strong's Concordance #H4150), which literally translated is "appointed times" (divine appointments) in reference to God's festivals. This is the earliest known allusion to what would later be called the Holy (or Feast) days (periods) of worship, which are seven in number.

The 4th of the Ten Commandments is to remember and keep God's holy Sabbath day (Exodus 20:9 - 11). The Sabbath day is tied directly to the creation week. God himself made the period between Friday sunset and Saturday sunset extra special when he rested on it after bringing everything into existence the previous six days (Genesis 2:1 - 3, Exodus 20:11).

Appearances of the number four
One of the top ten most frequently mentioned women in the Bible, Eve, is only referenced four times (Genesis 3:20, 4:1, 2Corinthians 11:3 and 1Timothy 2:13).
Psalm 107 is the only section or chapter in God's word that contains the exact same phrase four times (Psalm 107:8, 15, 21 and 31).

The apostle Paul was a man familiar with 4 major first century cultures. He was a Roman citizen, he was a Jew who spoke Greek as well as Hebrew, and he was a Christian.

The Garden of Eden had a river which parted into the headwaters of four other rivers. These rivers were the Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel and the Euphrates (Genesis 2:10 - 14).

After Jesus was nailed and hung on a cross, Roman soldiers divided up his clothes into four parts (one for each soldier - John 19:23).

The four witnesses of God on earth are miracles, wonders, signs and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 2:4).
The number of times rainbows are referenced in scripture are four (Genesis 9, Ezekiel 1:28, Revelation 4:3, 10:1).

Ezekiel, prophecy and the number 4
In Ezekiel's well-known 'wheel in the middle of a wheel' vision (Ezekiel 1, 10) he sees four living creatures transporting a throne with four sides and four wheels. Each of the living creatures (likely Cherubim, a class of angels) has four faces (the face of a man, lion, ox and eagle) and four wings (1:6).
Later in the book that bears his name, Ezekiel is told to proclaim to Israel that an end is coming upon 'the four corners of the land' (Ezekiel 7:2). In chapter 14 the prophet is told by the Eternal to ask Israel's unrepentant elders to repent or else four sore judgments will come upon Jerusalem. They are the sword, famine, wild beasts or animals, and pestilence (14:21).

Additional info on the Biblical Meaning of 4
There are 4 gospel accounts of Jesus' life and ministry. Each of these emphasizes a unique aspect of his sacrifice and ministry. Matthew's focus is on Christ being the son of David and a King. Mark highlights the suffering servant aspect of his ministry. John proclaims Jesus is the One and Only begotten Son of God. And Luke showcases him as the Perfect Man.

Month 12 Begins Feb 7 and during that month we have Rabbinic Purim between Feb 19-21. The second Super Moon is on Feb 19th Eve of Purim.

March 9 Sabbath is Rosh Chodesh and Rabbinic Aviv 1 but biblical Adar 1.

March Super Moon lands on the Spring Equinox (March 21). March 22-29 is Rabbinic Pesach/Passover.

April 6 (Sabbatth) is Rosh Chodesh in month 2 but Biblical Aviv 1.

The number 3 biblically represents divine wholeness, completeness and perfection. If there ever was a desire to highlight an idea, thought, event or noteworthy figure in the Bible for their prominence, the number 3 was used to put a divine stamp of completion or fulfillment on the subject.

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 3
The number 3 is used 467 times in the Bible. It pictures completeness, though to a lesser degree than 7. The meaning of this number derives from the fact that it is the first of four spiritually perfect numerals (the others being 7, 10 and 12). The 3 righteous patriarchs before the flood were Abel, Enoch and Noah. After the deluge there was the righteous "fathers" Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (later renamed Israel).

There are 27 books in the New Testament, which is 3 x 3 x 3, or completeness to the third power.

Jesus prayed three times in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest. He was placed on the cross at the 3rd hour of the day (9 a.m.) and died at the 9th hour (3 p.m.). There were 3 hours of darkness that covered the land while Jesus was suffering on the cross from the 6th hour to the 9th hour. Three is the number of resurrection. Christ was dead for three full days and three full nights, a total of 72 hours, before being resurrected on Saturday, April 8, just before sunset.

April 8th Rapture First sliver of the New Moon (Matt 24:31=Lk 24:44=Psalms 118:5=Ps 81:3) in Cetus below Pisces. Internet goes down. Banks close of Friday and then opens a week later and all of your cash, savings, and retirement money is gone (Ezekiel 7). Hopi Blue Star (Helion) shows up 1-2 days prior to the rapture party of 400 million and all the children under the age of knowing right from wrong (Deut 1) or on a future first sliver of the New Moon. 3 hours of water standing still on the surface of the globe. Along with this is the Axial poleshift, earthquake of 3.0-15.0 depending upon where you live, 3 days of darkness (72 hours) at the beginning of the earthquake followed by fire balls and 100 pound hail storms and the rest of the Trumpet and Bowl Judgments of Revelation between the New Moon (Matt 24:31; Lk 24:44; Psalms 118:5; Psalms 81:3) and ten days later (Psalms 118:10-13; Ps 18:4-6; Rev 16/19) with the marriage of the Groom and bride and Armageddon. Then 5 days of grace and then the Millennium beginning on the Full moon (Psalms 81:3; Prov 7:20) and a 30 year mini ice age (deep freeze).

Appearances of the number three
There were only three individuals who witnessed Jesus' transfiguration on Mount Hermon. Those who saw Jesus' glory on the mount were John, Peter and James.

The apostle Paul was an exceptionally well educated person. In three different occasions he quotes directly from Greek poets (Acts 17:28, 1Corinthians 15:33 and Titus 1:12). He also was privileged to visit the location of God's throne, which is in the third heaven (2Corinthians 12:2 - 4).

The three words that appear only once in Scripture are Reverend (Psalms 111:9), Eternity (Isaiah 57:15) and Grandmother (2Timothy 1:5).

Only three people were allowed to ask God anything. They were Solomon (1Kings 3:5), Ahaz (Isaiah 7:11) and, of course, Jesus Christ (Psalm 2:9).

The three gifts given to Israel by God were his law, the land of their inheritance, and their calling (the world to come).
The Bible only mentions the name of three angels (Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer).

How is the number 3 related to sex sins?
There are three places in the New Testament where sex sins are specially referenced. The first is in Romans 1:20 - 32, where certain people who reject God are given over to defile themselves in a variety of ways that includes homosexuality (male and female) and overall sexual immorality.
The second mention of sex-related sins is in 1Corinthians 5:1 - 13, where the apostle Paul must handle the problem of the local church allowing a member to openly commit incest. The third sex issue dealt with in the New Testament is in Revelation 2:19 - 25. A female who considers herself a prophetess within the Thyatira church, in the spirit of Jezebel, was teaching believers to commit sexual immorality and spiritual adultery.

Three in Prophecy
Next to seven, 3 is the most commonly found or referenced number in Revelation. An angel is charged to cry three woe's to those who live on earth to warn them of more trials to come (Revelation 8:13). The murdered bodies of the Two Witnesses will not be allowed to be buried but rather will lie openly in Jerusalem for three days before they are resurrected.

Three unclean spirits will be allowed to deceive the whole world to fight the returning Jesus Christ in what is called the battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:13 - 16). The new Jerusalem, created by God for placement on a new earth, will be shaped like a square with three gates on each side (Revelation 21:13).

Additional info on the Biblical Meaning of 3
God is described, in the very beginning of the book of Revelation, as a Being "which is, and which was, and which is to come" (Revelation 1:4).

There are 3 great periods of God's annual Feast days of worship. They are the Spring festivals (Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread), the summer festival (Pentecost) and the Fall festivals (Feast of Trumpets, Atonement and Feast of Tabernacles).

Does Isaiah Decode Sept. 23rd 2017’s Astronomical Sign?

Does Isaiah Decode Sept. 23rd 2017’s Astrological Sign?

September 12, 2017
Avraham Gileadi Ph.D.

To many people, the “signs in the heavens” the scriptures predict that will precede the Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Luke 21:11; Acts 2:19) are a subject they categorically dismiss. In their minds, astrological events are unrelated to realities on the ground. Associating them with fortune telling and other forbidden practices, they ignore the part of God’s Word that deals with “looking forth for the signs of my coming” (Doctrine & Covenants 39:23). And yet, hasn’t it always been in the nature of God, who created the heavens, to reveal his truth through heavenly mysteries?
When Abraham inquired of God, for example, he learned of “the set time of all the stars that are set to give light, until thou come near unto the throne of God” (Abraham 3:10).

As a celestial embodiment of God’s children who attain exaltation, the stars God showed Abraham informed him of different degrees of exaltation and that exaltation was a work in progress: “I saw the stars, that they were very great, and that one of them was nearest unto the throne of God; and there were many great ones which were near unto it,” the nearest being Kolob (Abraham 3:2, 16).

Isaiah similarly saw the stars as exalted beings: “Lift your eyes heavenward and see: Who formed these? He who brings forth their hosts by number, calling each one by name. Because he is almighty and all powerful, not one is unaccounted for” (Isaiah 40:26). Persons who experience spiritual rebirth each time they ascend the ladder to heaven, God calls by a new name (Isaiah 43:1; 49:1; 56:5; 62:2). Those who are “formed, molded, and wrought for my own glory,” he re-creates nearer to himself, acknowledging them as his “sons” and “daughters” (Isaiah 43:6–7).

Such esoteric knowledge, which deals with the mysteries of God, forms a part of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is accessible to all: “For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost” (1 Nephi 10:19). While on the one hand “he that will harden his heart, the same receiveth the lesser portion of the word,” on the other, “he that will not harden his heart, to him is given the greater portion of the word, until it is given unto him to know the mysteries of God until he know them in full” (Alma 12:10).

Remembering the many precedents of astrological signs that portended significant events, including the birth of Jesus Christ at his first coming (Helaman 14:1–8, 12; 3 Nephi 1:9), surely the four blood moons on the four successive Jewish feastdays of Passover 2014, Tabernacles 2014, Passover 2015, and Tabernacles 2015 convey a message significant to the times in which we live, particularly for the Jews. And what of the solar eclipse of August 21, 2017 that cut across the entire United States, which has been followed by intensifying national disasters?

The question is one of belief or unbelief: “He that believeth shall be blest with signs following, even as it is written. And unto you it shall be given to know the signs of the times, and the signs of the coming of the Son of Man” (Doctrine & Covenants 68:10–11); “And it shall come to pass that he that feareth me shall be looking forth for the great day of the Lord to come, even for the signs of the coming of the Son of Man. And they shall see signs and wonders, for they shall be shown forth in the heavens above, and in the earth beneath” (Doctrine & Covenants 45:39–40).

To those who “fear” or reverence God, the messianic planet Jupiter’s gestation in the womb of the Virgo Constellation, and of its “birth” on September 23rd 2017, evidently contains far more significance than to those who don’t fear God. Particularly is that so when we perceive that all messianic prophecies aren’t equal—that many refer to a temporal savior who restores God’s people Israel to prepare them for Jehovah’s coming to reign on the earth; while others, such as Isaiah 53:1–10, refer to a spiritual Savior who “saves his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).

The phenomenon called the “Birthpangs of the Messiah” deals with Zion’s entering a time of travail until she brings forth a deliverer—God’s endtime servant: “Before she is in labor, she gives birth; before her ordeal overtakes her, she delivers a son! Who has heard the like, or who has seen such things? Can the earth labor but a day and a nation be born at once? For as soon as she was in labor, Zion gave birth to her children. Shall I bring to a crisis and not bring on birth? says Jehovah. When it is I who cause the birth, shall I hinder it? says your God” (Isaiah 66:7-9).

Like the scribes and Pharisees of Jesus’ day, who feared being displaced, those who attempt to hinder Zion’s deliverance oppose the servant’s efforts of gathering Israel’s natural lineages into a new nation of God’s covenant people in God’s Day of Judgment. Despised, abhorred, accused, and disfigured (Isaiah 49:7; 50:8–9; 52:14), God’s servant—his “arm” of righteousness (Isaiah 51:5, 9–12; 52:10)—nonetheless succeeds in restoring Israel in preparation for Jehovah’s coming (Isaiah 49:8–13; 52:13, 15; 55:3–5). The earth’s Creator sustains him (Isaiah 42:1; 44:24–26).

John’s vision of the Woman “travailing in birth, in pain to be delivered” (Revelation 12:2) forms a second witness of this endtime event. Synchronizing his and Isaiah’s visions, we learn that the Woman Zion’s son being “caught up to God and to his throne” (Revelation 12:5) implies his being translated. As with Enoch, Moses, and the Three Nephites, who were translated at similar such experiences, God’s translating his servant accounts for his being healed of his disfigurement (Isaiah 57:18; 3 Nephi 21:10), after which he gains prominence (Isaiah 49:7; 52:13–14; 55:3–5).

JA Notes:
They are not astrological  but are Biblical Astronomical and we cannot dismiss them.
Gen 1:14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for SIGNS, and for seasons (Leviticus 23 Feasts of GOD/Lord), and for days, and years (Shemitah and Jubilee Years (2017-2018 Lev 25).

Ezekiel's Wheel in the Sun in 2018

Ezekiel covers a 70 year period  like ours  between 1948 and 2018. This  period was during the darkest days of Judah's history.
Ezekiel uses prophesies, parables, signs, and symbols  to dramatize God's message to His exiled people. Though they are like dry bones (1948; Ps 48 Ezek 37:4) in the Sun, God will reassemble them and bring life into the nation once again. Present judgment will be followed by future glory so that you shall know that I AM the Lord (Ezek 6:7).
Do we have a timeline within a timeline like we had in Isaiah? Is there a timeline at all  in Ezekiel?
In my quest to become a time lord (Dr. Who) of the Bible, I like knowing how Ezekiel plays out in the walk of dates and date setting (verses that deal with dates). In this journey, my quest is to find 50, 70, 80, 100 or 120 date setting verses and many different date setting articles book by book and chapter by chapter of the entire Bible.

I just remembered that the Russians invaded Afghanistan right on Christmas in 1980. Maybe they are about to repeat the same timing with the Israel invasion. I guess fighting a war in mid winter doesn't bother the Russians as Israel's winter is more like a Russian summer.

The subject matter is God of the third Heaven in this entire chapter of Job and how HE has all control of the first and second heavens so when flatearthers takes this verse out of context and refer it to the first heaven only, then they leave out the second and third Heaven.

Mat_16:2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky (first Heaven-trophosphere) is red. Mat_16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky (first Heaven-trophosphere) is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky first Heaven-trophosphere); but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Luk_12:56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky (first heaven-trophosphere) and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? (2019 with the Rapture, Armageddon, and Millennium in Biblical 5778 which ends in April of 2019)

Heb_11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky (second Heaven) in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
I checked for space as being Heaven 2 but space in the Bible is distance or separation.

Atmosphere (For Flat Earthers: Atmosflat. We do not like mentioning globe or sphere because that refers to a globe or sphere so to be politically correct, we change the words to flat words like atmosflat).

The atmosphere is a mixture of nitrogen (78%), oxygen (21%), and other gases (1%) that surrounds Earth. High above the planet, the atmosphere becomes thinner until it gradually reaches space. It is divided into five layers. Most of the weather and clouds are found in the first layer.
The atmosphere is an important part of what makes Earth livable. It blocks some of the Sun's dangerous rays from reaching Earth. It traps heat, making Earth a comfortable temperature. And the oxygen within our atmosphere is essential for life.

Layers of the Earth's Atmosphere
The atmosphere is divided into five layers. It is thickest near the surface and thins out with height until it eventually merges with space.
   1) The troposphere is the first layer above the surface and contains half of the Earth's atmosphere. Weather occurs in this layer.
   2) Many jet aircrafts fly in the stratosphere because it is very stable. Also, the ozone layer absorbs harmful rays from the Sun.
   3) Meteors or rock fragments burn up in the mesosphere.
   4) The thermosphere is a layer with auroras. It is also where the space shuttle orbits.
   5) The atmosphere merges into space in the extremely thin exosphere . This is the upper limit of our atmosphere.

Flatearthes are politically flat so they do not like us to mention globe or sphere.
For them when referring to atmosphere, it is atmosflat, trophoflat, stratoflat, mesoflat, thermoflat, and exoflat.

Welcome to a multi universe of the first Heaven.

If you want to understand Revelation, you best bet is to understand Genesis to Deuteronomy first.

Generally speaking, Earth has 3 layers which is divded into 4 layers. So with the atmospher 5 layers then we have 9 layers (final completion)

Earth
EARTH in OT usually stands for one or other of the Heb. words ’eretz and ’adâmâh. In AV these are rendered indiscriminately ‘earth’ and ‘ground/land,’ but RV distinguishes them by using, to some extent, ‘earth’ for the former, and ‘ground’ for the latter. Both words have a wide range of meanings, some of which they possess in common, while others are peculiar to each. Thus ’eretz denotes: (a) earth as opposed to heaven (Gen_1:1), and (b) dry land as opposed to sea. (Gen_1:20). ’adâmâh is specially used: (a) for earth as a specific substance (Gen_2:7, 2Ki_5:17); and (b) for the surface of the ground, in such phrases as ‘face of the earth.’ Both words are employed to describe: (a) the soil from which plants grow, ’adâmâh being the more common term in this sense; (b) the whole earth with its inhabitants, for which, however, ’adâmâh is but rarely used; and (c) a land or country, this also being usually expressed by ’eretz. In one or two cases it is doubtful in which of the two last senses ’eretz is to be taken, e.g. Jer_22:29 (EV ‘earth,’ RVm ‘land’).
In NT the Gr. words for ‘earth’ are gç and oikoumenç, the former having practically all the variety of meanings mentioned above, while the latter denotes specially the whole inhabited earth, and is once used (Heb_2:5) in a still wider sense for the universe of the future. See, further, art. World.

World
WORLD
1. In OT.—In general it may be said that the normal expression for such conception of the Universe as the Hebrews had reached is ‘the heavens and the earth’ (Gen_1:1, Psa_89:11, 1Ch_16:31), and that ‘world’ is an equivalent expression for ‘earth.’ So far as there is a difference, the ‘world’ is rather the fruitful, habitable earth, e.g., ‘the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein’ (Psa_24:1; cf. Psa_50:12; Psa_90:2, Isa_34:1). The religious sentiments awakened by the contemplation of Nature appear also in references to the heavens and the sea (e.g. Psa_8:1-9; Psa_19:1-14, Job_38:1-41; Job_39:1-30). But of the ethical depreciation of the world, so prominent in some NT writings, there are in the OT few traces. The ‘world’ is to be judged in righteousness (Psa_9:8; Psa_96:13; Psa_98:9), and punished for its evil (Isa_13:11). The transient character of its riches and pleasures, with the consequent folly of absorption in them, is perhaps indicated by another Hebrew word (meaning ‘duration‘; cf. ‘æon’ below) rendered ‘world’ at Psa_17:14 (‘men of the world, whose portion is in this life,’ cf. RVm); also by the same word at Psa_49:1 (see the whole Psalm). A word of similar meaning is rendered ‘world’ in AV at Psa_73:12, Ecc_3:11, but RV retains ‘world’ only in the latter passage, and gives quite another turn to the sense.
The ethical aspect of the ‘world’ does not receive any fresh emphasis in the Apocrypha, though in the Book of Wisdom both the scientific interest in regard to the world and the impulses of natural religion are notably quickened (Wis_7:17-22; Wis_9:9; Wis_11:17; Wis_11:22; Wis_13:1-9, cf. Sir_17:1-32; Sir_18:1-33). There is ample contrast between the stability of the righteous and the vanity of ungodly prosperity (e.g. Wis_1:1-16; Wis_2:1-24; Wis_3:1-19; Wis_4:1-20; Wis_5:1-23), but the latter is not identified with the ‘world.’ It is, noticeable that in the Apocrypha the word kosmos, which in the LXX means ‘adornment,’ has reached its sense of ‘world,’ conceived as a beautiful order; in the NT this becomes the prevalent word.
2. In NT.—(1) aiôn (¿on), ‘age,’ is used of the world in its time-aspect: human history is conceived as made up of ages, successive and contemporaneous, converging to and consummated in the Christ. These in their sum constitute the ‘world’: God is their Maker (Heb_1:2; Heb_11:3 [AV and RV ‘worlds,’ but ‘world’ better represents the thought]) and their King (1Ti_1:17 RVm, Rev_15:3 RV). Hence the phrases ‘since the world began,’ lit. ‘from the age’ (Luk_1:70, Joh_9:32, Act_15:18); and ‘the end of the world,’ lit. the ‘consummation of the age’ (Mat_13:39-40; Mat_13:49; Mat_24:3; Mat_28:20) or ‘of the ages’ (Heb_9:26). All the ‘ends of the world’ so conceived meet in the Christian era (1Co_10:11 [RV ‘ages’], cf. Heb_11:39-40). Under this time-aspect, also, the NT writers identify their own age with the ‘world,’ and this, as not merely actual but as typical, is set in new lights. As ‘this world,’ ‘this present world,’ it is contrasted explicitly or implicitly with ‘the world to come’ (Mat_12:32, Mar_10:30, Luk_18:30; Luk_20:34-35, Eph_1:21; Eph_2:7, 2Ti_4:10, Tit_2:12, Heb_6:5).
In some of these passages there is implied a moral condemnation of this world; elsewhere this receives deeper emphasis. ‘The cares of the world choke the word’ (Mat_13:22, Mar_4:19): the ‘sons of this world’ are contrasted with the ‘sons of light’ (Luk_16:8; cf. Rom_12:2, Eph_2:2 ‘according to the transient fashion [æon] of this material world [kosmos]’). This world is evil (Gal_1:4), its wisdom is naught (1Co_1:20; 1Co_2:6; 1Co_3:18), its rulers crucified the Lord of glory (1Co_2:8); finally, it is the ‘god of this world’ that has blinded the minds of the unhelieving (2Co_4:4). This ethical use of æon = ‘world’ is not found in the Johannine writings.
(2) But the most frequent term for ‘world’ is kosmos, which is sometimes extended in meaning to the material universe, as in the phrases ‘from the beginning (‘foundation,’ ‘creation’) of the world’ (e.g. Mat_24:21; Mat_25:34, Heb_4:6, Rom_1:20; for the implied thought of Divine creation cf. Act_14:17; Act_17:24). More commonly, however, the word is used of the earth, and especially the earth as the abode of man. To ‘gain the whole world’ is to become possessed of all possible material wealth and earthly power (Mat_16:26, Mar_8:36, Luk_9:25). Because ‘sin entered into the world’ (Rom_5:12), it is become the scene of the Incarnation and the object of Redemption (2Co_5:19, 1Ti_1:15, Heb_10:5, Joh_1:9-10; Joh_1:29; Joh_3:16-17; Joh_12:47), the scene also, alien but inevitable, of the Christian disciple’s life and discipline, mission and victory (Mat_5:14; Mat_13:38; Mat_26:13, Joh_17:16, Rom_1:8, 1Co_3:22; 1Co_4:9; 1Co_5:10; 1Co_7:31, 2Co_1:12, Php_2:16, Col_1:8, 1Pe_5:9, Rev_11:15). From this virtual identification of the ‘world’ with mankind, and mankind as separated from and hostile to God, there comes the ethical signification of the word specially developed in the writings of St. Paul and St. John.
(a) The Epp. of St. Paul. To the Galatians St. Paul describes the pre-Christian life as slavery to ‘the rudiments of the world’ (Gal_4:3, cf. Gal_4:9); through Christ the world is crucified to him and he to the world (Gal_6:14). Both thoughts recur in Colossians (Gal_2:8; Gal_2:20). In writing to the Corinthians he condemns the wisdom, the passing fashion, the care, the sorrow of the world (1Co_1:20-21; 1Co_3:19; 1Co_7:31; 1Co_7:33-34, 2Co_7:10; cf. aiôn above), and declares the Divine choice to rest upon all that the world least esteems (1Co_1:27-28, cf. Jas_2:5). This perception of the true worth of things is granted to those who ‘received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God’ (1Co_2:12); hence ‘the saints shall judge the world’ (1Co_6:2; cf. 1Co_11:32). In the argument of Romans the thought of the Divine judgment of the ‘world’ has incidental place, but in the climax St. Paul conceives of the ‘fall’ of Israel as leading to ‘the riches of the world,’ and of the ‘casting away’ of them as the ‘reconciling of the world’ (1Co_11:12; 1Co_11:16; cf. 1Co_11:32 and 1Co_5:12-13). What. St. Paul condemns, then, is hardly the world as essentially evil, but the world-spirit which leads to evil by its neglect of the unseen and eternal, and by its blindness to the true scale of values revealed in the gospel of Christ crucified.
(b) The Gospel and First Ep. of St. John. In these two writings occur more than half the NT instances of the word we are considering. That is, the term kosmos is characteristic of St. John, and, setting aside his frequent use of it in the non-ethical sense, especially as the sphere of the incarnation and saving work of Christ, we find an ethical conception of the ‘world’ deeper in its shadows than that of St. Paul. It is true that Jesus is the Light of the world (Joh_1:9; Joh_3:19; Joh_8:12; Joh_9:5; Joh_12:46), its Life-giver (Joh_6:33; Joh_6:51), its Saviour (Joh_3:17, Joh_4:42, Joh_12:47); yet ‘the world knew him not’ (Joh_1:10), and the Fourth Gospel sets out its story of His persistent rejection by the world, in language which at times seems to pass beyond a mere record of contemporary unbelief, and almost to assert an essential dualism of good and evil (Joh_7:7, Joh_8:23, Joh_9:39, Joh_12:31, Joh_14:17; Joh_14:30, Joh_16:11; Joh_16:20). Here the ‘world’ is not simply the worldly spirit, but the great mass of mankind in deadly hostility to Christ and His teaching. In contrast stand His disciples, his own which were in the world’ (Joh_13:1), chosen out of the world (Joh_15:18, cf. Joh_17:6), but not of it, and therefore hated as He was hated (Joh_15:18-19, Joh_17:14; Joh_17:16). For them He intercedes as He does not for the world (Joh_17:8). In the 1st Ep. of St. John the same sharp contrasts meet us. The world lies within the scope of God’s redemptive purpose in Jesus Christ (Joh_2:2, Joh_4:14), yet it stands opposed to His followers as a thing wholly evil, with which they may hold no traffic (Joh_2:15-17, cf. Jas_4:4), knowing them not and hating them (Jas_3:1; Jas_3:13). It is conceived as under the sway of a power essentially hostile to God,—the antichrist (Jas_2:18; Jas_2:22, Jas_4:3; cf. ‘the prince of this world’ Joh_12:31; Joh_14:30; Joh_16:11)—and is therefore not to be entreated and persuaded, but fought and overcome by the ‘greater one’ who is in the disciple of Christ (Joh_4:4, Joh_5:4-5). Faith ‘overcometh the world,’ but St. John reserves for his closing words his darkest expression of a persistent dualism of good and evil, light and darkness: ‘We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the evil one’ (Joh_5:19).
The idiomatic uses of the term ‘world’ in Joh_7:4; Joh_12:19, 1Jn_3:17 are sufficiently obvious. For the difficult expression ‘the world of iniquity’ applied to the tongue (Jas_3:6), see the Commentaries.

Firmament (Part 1 of 2 or 3)

Picture of the firmament surrounding the Earth
www.zerohedge.com/s3/files/inline-images/emp%20escape.png?itok=Vr_sOzSA

Firmament: The earth is a sphere or globe and has more than 7 layers. It is not flat. Saturn has 7 rings. Pleiades is also called the 7 sisters. Genesis 1:1 in the Hebrew forms a menorah and has 54 occurrences of the number 7 in the gemetria. Revelation has 54 occurrences of the Number 7.
The number 7 means completion.

Gen_1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Gen_1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Gen_1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Gen_1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons (Moed/Moedim Leviticus 23), and for days, and years (Shemitah and Jubilee year):
Gen_1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Gen_1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

Gen_1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
This verse refers to the Atmosphere above the crust and below the Second Heaven. From a commentator on an article on the Earth, there is seven wind layers in the atmosphere of the earth.

Firmament
Raqi'ah, "the expanse stretched out as a curtain" over the earth (Isa_40:22; Psa_104:2), resting on the mountains as its pillars (the language is phenomenal, as indeed necessarily is that of even men of science often): Job_26:11. It was the reservoir of rain and snow, which poured through its opened "windows" or "doors" (Gen_7:11; Isa_24:18; Psa_78:23). It includes the atmosphere immediately round the earth, in which the birds fly, and which bears up the clouds (Gen_1:6-7; Gen_1:20; in Gen_1:14 it also comprises the region in which the sun, moon, and stars are seen).
The raki a supported the upper reservoir (Psa_148:4). It was the support also of the heavenly bodies (Gen_1:14), and is spoken of as having “windows” and “doors” (Gen_7:11; Isa_24:18; Mal_3:10) through which the rain and snow might descend.
"Firmament" (from the Vulgate: firmamentum; Septuagint: stereooma) is derived from firmness; but the Hebrew expresses no such notion, as if Moses thought the sky a hard firm vault, in which the heavenly bodies were fixed. The sky in Job_37:18 is termed "strong, as a molten looking glass," namely, a polished copper mirror. But it is not the solidity, but the transparent clearness and the smiling brightness, which is the point of comparison. Otherwise, how could birds fly in a solid?

Psa_19:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Heavens is plural so that means more than one and we understand that to mean 3 Heavens. Firmament in verse one can be singular as in the Earth with its atmosphere or plural.

Heavens: H8064; shâmayim shâmeh; shaw-mah'-yim, shaw-meh'
The second form being dual of an unused singular; from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve): - air, X astrologer, heaven (-s).
Firmament: H7549; râqı̂ya‛; raw-kee'-ah
From H7554; properly an expanse, that is, the firmament or (apparently) visible arch of the sky: - firmament.

Psa 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. Psa 19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Psa 19:4 Their line (cord to bind) is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Earth: H776; 'erets; eh'-rets
From an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land): - X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X nations, way, + wilderness, world.
H8398; têbêl; tay-bale'
From H2986; the earth (as moist and therefore inhabited); by extension the globe; by implication its inhabitants; specifically a particular land, as Babylonia or Palestine: - habitable part, world.

Tabernacle: H168; 'ôhel o'-hel
From H166; a tent (as clearly conspicuous from a distance): - covering, (dwelling) (place), home, tabernacle, tent.
H166 'âhal aw-hal'
A primitive root; to be clear: - shine.
Sun: H8121; shemesh sheh'-mesh
From an unused root meaning to be brilliant; the sun; by implication the east; figuratively a ray, that is, (architecturally) a notched battlement: - + east side (-ward), sun ([rising]), + west (-ward), window. See also H1053.
H1053; bêyth shemesh bayth sheh'-mesh
From H1004 and H8121; house of (the) sun; Beth-Shemesh, a place in Palestine: - Beth-shemesh.

Their line (cord to bind; rule; direction) is gone out through all the earth (land), and their words to the end (north, south, east and west) of the world (globe/sphere). In them (Gen_1:14-18; Mal_4:2) hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
So why this verse. The verse is a reference to the Equinoxes and Zodiac and the 4 corners of the 2nd Heaven using the Sun as a reference point. The figure it makes thoughout the year is a figure 8 pattern going from the north to the south. If the earth was flat then there could be no seasons (Spring (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firsts Fruits; Barley Harverst; Pentecost/Wheat Harvest, Summer, Fall (Day of Trumpet, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles; Winter (Chanukkah)). Tabernacle is another major word and is a reference to the Tabernacle in Heaven with the Holies of Holy (Third Heaven), the Holy Place (2nd Heaven), and the outer court (Earth; first Heaven). Sun is the third Key. It rises in the East and sets in the west.
This verse is a reference back to Genesis 1:14 which was the Creation of the Sun, Moon, and Stars on the 4th day of the week which gives us a reference point to Seasons (Moed, Moedim; Lev. 23 Sabbaths).
tabernacle = tent, or house. Hence the signs of the Zodiac are called the "houses" of the sun, because in them he moves and dwells, and completes his circuit.

Psa 19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber (tabernacle, tent, chuppah), and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
This verse is a reference to the rapture or gathering bridegroom to the bride for the Leviticus 23 Feasts and Chanukkah. Elohim follows the Biblical Calendar so we are to watch for the arrival of the Messiah at the Spring Feasts, Fall Feasts, and Chanukkah. This verse gives us hope to watch for the Messiah's arrival in the 120 Jubilee year from Creation which is in 5778 between April 16, 2018 to April 8th, 2019 between the first sliver of the New Moon to the Full Moon.
Psa 19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
This verse refers to the third and second Heavens.
Hi going Forth: H4161; môtsâ' môtsâ' mo-tsaw', mo-tsaw'
From H3318; a going forth, that is, (the act) an egress, or (the place) an exit; hence a source or product; specifically dawn, the rising of the sun (the East), exportation, utterance, a gate, a fountain, a mine, a meadow (as producing grass): - brought out, bud, that which came out, east, going forth, goings out, that which (thing that) is gone out, outgoing, proceeded out, spring, vein, [water-] course [springs].
Dawn, the rising of the Sun (Malachi 4) Sun of Righteousness with healing on its wings is a reference to Nibiru/ Planet X/ El Shaddai/ the Destroyer arriving at the time of the Day of the Lord possibly arising from the East cardinal points in the Second Heaven maybe out of Sagittarius as some people teach.
Heaven: H8064; shâmayim shâmeh shaw-mah'-yim, shaw-meh'
The second form being dual of an unused singular; from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve): - air, X astrologer, heaven (-s).
Circuit: H8622; teqûphâh teqûphâh tek-oo-faw', tek-oo-faw'
From H5362; a revolution, that is, (of the sun) course, (of time) lapse: - circuit, come about, end.
H5362; nâqaph naw-kaf'

Psalms 19:6 reference is to the Sun from Creation to the present as our universe circles around the third Heaven which is the center of all of the universes. We cannot hide from the heat of the Sun/Son nor can we hide from the judgments of God. We know our end is either the Messianic Kingdom or the lake of fire and brimstone so chose this day who you are going to follow. Are you going to follow the perfect laws of God and enter the Messianic Kingdom or are you going to follow after the false light of Satan which 95% of humanity will follow and enter the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity?

Psa_150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Ezekiel 1 4 Cherubims in the Third Heaven
Eze 1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
Eze 1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
Eze_1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
Eze_1:23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
Eze_1:25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.
Eze_1:26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
The firmament is transparent.
Eze_10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne. Thrd Heaven.

The Time of the End
Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Firmament here refers to the third Heaven and the Second Heaven (Stars=Suns). First Heaven refers to the wise.
1290 days and 1335 days in this chapter.

Gen 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Gen 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Gen 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Flat earthers believe that the earth is called Heaven because the atmosphere around the earth is the waters. They also believe the earth is a square or a flat level plain which goes on for 36,000 to 40,000 miles and is as flat as a sheet of glass.
But the key is Gen 1:8 Heaven. So that makes 3 layers. You have the third Heaven which is the Spiritual Heaven. The second Heaven contains the Sun, Moon, and Stars with all of the universes and galaxies. The Earth is the first Heaven which is the basis of this article.
