Firmament: The earth is a sphere or globe and has more than 7 layers. It is not flat. Saturn has 7 rings. Pleiades is also called the 7 sisters. Genesis 1:1 in the Hebrew forms a menorah and has 54 occurrences of the number 7 in the gemetria. Revelation has 54 occurrences of the Number 7.

The number 7 means completion.

Gen_1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Gen_1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Gen_1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Gen_1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons (Moed/Moedim Leviticus 23), and for days, and years (Shemitah and Jubilee year):

Gen_1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen_1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

Gen_1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

This verse refers to the Atmosphere above the crust and below the Second Heaven. From a commentator on an article on the Earth, there is seven wind layers in the atmosphere of the earth.

Firmament

Raqi'ah, "the expanse stretched out as a curtain" over the earth (Isa_40:22; Psa_104:2), resting on the mountains as its pillars (the language is phenomenal, as indeed necessarily is that of even men of science often): Job_26:11. It was the reservoir of rain and snow, which poured through its opened "windows" or "doors" (Gen_7:11; Isa_24:18; Psa_78:23). It includes the atmosphere immediately round the earth, in which the birds fly, and which bears up the clouds (Gen_1:6-7; Gen_1:20; in Gen_1:14 it also comprises the region in which the sun, moon, and stars are seen).

The raki a supported the upper reservoir (Psa_148:4). It was the support also of the heavenly bodies (Gen_1:14), and is spoken of as having “windows” and “doors” (Gen_7:11; Isa_24:18; Mal_3:10) through which the rain and snow might descend.

"Firmament" (from the Vulgate: firmamentum; Septuagint: stereooma) is derived from firmness; but the Hebrew expresses no such notion, as if Moses thought the sky a hard firm vault, in which the heavenly bodies were fixed. The sky in Job_37:18 is termed "strong, as a molten looking glass," namely, a polished copper mirror. But it is not the solidity, but the transparent clearness and the smiling brightness, which is the point of comparison. Otherwise, how could birds fly in a solid?

Psa_19:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Heavens is plural so that means more than one and we understand that to mean 3 Heavens. Firmament in verse one can be singular as in the Earth with its atmosphere or plural.

Heavens: H8064; shâmayim shâmeh; shaw-mah'-yim, shaw-meh'

The second form being dual of an unused singular; from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve): - air, X astrologer, heaven (-s).

Firmament: H7549; râqı̂ya‛; raw-kee'-ah

From H7554; properly an expanse, that is, the firmament or (apparently) visible arch of the sky: - firmament.

Psa 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. Psa 19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Psa 19:4 Their line (cord to bind) is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Earth: H776; 'erets; eh'-rets

From an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land): - X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X nations, way, + wilderness, world.

H8398; têbêl; tay-bale'

From H2986; the earth (as moist and therefore inhabited); by extension the globe; by implication its inhabitants; specifically a particular land, as Babylonia or Palestine: - habitable part, world.

Tabernacle: H168; 'ôhel o'-hel

From H166; a tent (as clearly conspicuous from a distance): - covering, (dwelling) (place), home, tabernacle, tent.

H166 'âhal aw-hal'

A primitive root; to be clear: - shine.

Sun: H8121; shemesh sheh'-mesh

From an unused root meaning to be brilliant; the sun; by implication the east; figuratively a ray, that is, (architecturally) a notched battlement: - + east side (-ward), sun ([rising]), + west (-ward), window. See also H1053.

H1053; bêyth shemesh bayth sheh'-mesh

From H1004 and H8121; house of (the) sun; Beth-Shemesh, a place in Palestine: - Beth-shemesh.

Their line (cord to bind; rule; direction) is gone out through all the earth (land), and their words to the end (north, south, east and west) of the world (globe/sphere). In them (Gen_1:14-18; Mal_4:2) hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

So why this verse. The verse is a reference to the Equinoxes and Zodiac and the 4 corners of the 2nd Heaven using the Sun as a reference point. The figure it makes thoughout the year is a figure 8 pattern going from the north to the south. If the earth was flat then there could be no seasons (Spring (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firsts Fruits; Barley Harverst; Pentecost/Wheat Harvest, Summer, Fall (Day of Trumpet, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles; Winter (Chanukkah)). Tabernacle is another major word and is a reference to the Tabernacle in Heaven with the Holies of Holy (Third Heaven), the Holy Place (2nd Heaven), and the outer court (Earth; first Heaven). Sun is the third Key. It rises in the East and sets in the west.

This verse is a reference back to Genesis 1:14 which was the Creation of the Sun, Moon, and Stars on the 4th day of the week which gives us a reference point to Seasons (Moed, Moedim; Lev. 23 Sabbaths).

tabernacle = tent, or house. Hence the signs of the Zodiac are called the "houses" of the sun, because in them he moves and dwells, and completes his circuit.

Psa 19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber (tabernacle, tent, chuppah), and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

This verse is a reference to the rapture or gathering bridegroom to the bride for the Leviticus 23 Feasts and Chanukkah. Elohim follows the Biblical Calendar so we are to watch for the arrival of the Messiah at the Spring Feasts, Fall Feasts, and Chanukkah. This verse gives us hope to watch for the Messiah's arrival in the 120 Jubilee year from Creation which is in 5778 between April 16, 2018 to April 8th, 2019 between the first sliver of the New Moon to the Full Moon.

Psa 19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

This verse refers to the third and second Heavens.

Hi going Forth: H4161; môtsâ' môtsâ' mo-tsaw', mo-tsaw'

From H3318; a going forth, that is, (the act) an egress, or (the place) an exit; hence a source or product; specifically dawn, the rising of the sun (the East), exportation, utterance, a gate, a fountain, a mine, a meadow (as producing grass): - brought out, bud, that which came out, east, going forth, goings out, that which (thing that) is gone out, outgoing, proceeded out, spring, vein, [water-] course [springs].

Dawn, the rising of the Sun (Malachi 4) Sun of Righteousness with healing on its wings is a reference to Nibiru/ Planet X/ El Shaddai/ the Destroyer arriving at the time of the Day of the Lord possibly arising from the East cardinal points in the Second Heaven maybe out of Sagittarius as some people teach.

From H5362; a revolution, that is, (of the sun) course, (of time) lapse: - circuit, come about, end.

H5362; nâqaph naw-kaf'

A primitive root; to strike with more or less violence (beat, fell, corrode); by implication (of attack) to knock together, that is, surround or circulate: - compass (about, -ing), cut down, destroy, go round (about), inclose, round.

Psalms 19:6 reference is to the Sun from Creation to the present as our universe circles around the third Heaven which is the center of all of the universes. We cannot hide from the heat of the Sun/Son nor can we hide from the judgments of God. We know our end is either the Messianic Kingdom or the lake of fire and brimstone so chose this day who you are going to follow. Are you going to follow the perfect laws of God and enter the Messianic Kingdom or are you going to follow after the false light of Satan which 95% of humanity will follow and enter the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity?

Psa_150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Ezekiel 1 4 Cherubims in the Third Heaven

Eze 1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

Eze 1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

Eze_1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

Eze_1:23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

Eze_1:25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

Eze_1:26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

The firmament is transparent.

Eze_10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne. Thrd Heaven.

The Time of the End

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Firmament here refers to the third Heaven and the Second Heaven (Stars=Suns). First Heaven refers to the wise.

Flat earthers believe that the earth is called Heaven because the atmosphere around the earth is the waters. They also believe the earth is a square or a flat level plain which goes on for 36,000 to 40,000 miles and is as flat as a sheet of glass.

But the key is Gen 1:8 Heaven. So that makes 3 layers. You have the third Heaven which is the Spiritual Heaven. The second Heaven contains the Sun, Moon, and Stars with all of the universes and galaxies. The Earth is the first Heaven which is the basis of this article.
