11 Q 13
Melchizedek and Jubilees 9th and 10th
1QMelch
(modified for easier reading)
And
concerning that which He said, In this year of Jubilee each of you
shall return to his property (Lev. 25:13); and likewise, And this is
the manner of release: every creditor shall release that which he
has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor and
his brother, for God's release has been proclaimed (Deut. 15:2). And
it will be proclaimed at the end of days concerning the captives as
He said, To proclaim liberty to the captives (Isa. 61:1). Its
interpretation is that He will assign them to the Sons of Heaven and
to the inheritance of Melchizedek/Redeemer/Messiah Yahoshua; for He
will cast their lot amid the portions of Melchizedek, who will
return them there and will proclaim to them liberty, forgiving them
the wrong-doings of all their iniquities. And this thing will occur
in the first week of the Jubilee that follows the nine Jubilees. And
the Day of Atonement is the end of the tenth Jubilee, when all the
Sons of Light and the men of the lot of Melchizedek will be atoned
for. And a statute concerns them to provide them with their rewards.
For this is the moment of the Year of Grace for Melchizedek. And he
will, by his strength, judge the holy ones of God, executing
judgment as it is written concerning him in the Songs of David, who
said, ELOHIM has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst
of the gods he holds judgment (Psalms 82:1). And it was concerning
him that he said, (Let the assembly of the peoples) return to the
height above them; EL (god) will judge the peoples (Psalms 7:7-8).
As for that which he said, How long will you judge unjustly and show
partiality to the wicked? Selah (Psalms 82:2), its interpretation
concerns Belial and the spirits of his lot who rebelled by turning
away from the precepts of God to ... And Melchizedek will avenge the
vengeance of the judgments of God... and he will drag them from the
hand of Belial and from the hand of all the spirits of his lot. And
all the 'gods of Justice' will come to his aid to attend to the
destruction of Belial. And the height is ... all the sons of God...
this ... This is the day of Peace/Salvation concerning which God
spoke through Isaiah the prophet, who said, How beautiful upon the
mountains are the feet of the messenger who proclaims peace, who
brings good news, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion: Your
ELOHIM reigns (Isa. 52:7). Its interpretation; the mountains are the
prophets... and the messenger is the Anointed one of the spirit,
concerning whom Daniel said, Until an anointed one, a prince (Dan.
9:25) ... And he who brings good news , who proclaims salvation: it
is concerning him that it is written... To comfort all who mourn, to
grant to those who mourn in Zion (Isa. 61:2-3). To comfort those who
mourn: its interpretation, to make them understand all the ages of
time ... In truth ... will turn away from Belial... by the judgments
of God, as it is written concerning him, who says to Zion; your
ELOHIM reigns. Zion is ..., those who uphold the Covenant, who turn
from walking in the way of the people. And your ELOHIM is
Melchizedek, who will save them from the hand of Belial. As for that
which He said, Then you shall send abroad the trumpet in all the
land (Lev. 25: 9)

This whole
text presents an eschatological scenario of the coming judgment. In
this sense, we have all the necessary components here: coming end and
judgment, on the one hand, and salvation of the righteous ones, on
the other. No doubt Melchizedek is given here a central role in the
eschatological salvation of the righteous and judgment of the wicked.
At the completion of the ninth Jubilee, in the first week of the
tenth Jubilee, on the Day of Atonement, atonement will be made for
“all the sons of light and the men of the lot of Melchizedek”
(2.8). At this time Melchizedek will also execute judgment on Satan
and on the spirits of his lot. Melchizedek here is the instrument of
God’s eschatological judgment. He is an eschatological savior of
the righteous ones; as the instrument of God, he will judge on the
Day of Atonement at the time of God’s final judgment, when Belial
and the spirits of his lot will be defeated.
“Melchizedek
will carry out the vengeance of God’s judgments on this day and
they shall be freed from the hand of Belial and from the hands of all
the spirits of his lot]” (Column 2.13).
Salvation
comes here through the hidden end-time Savior, but it comes also only
to those belonging to him—only the sons of light belonging to the
lot of Melchizedek.
11QMelcizedek
probably dates from the end of the second half of the second century
BCE
Melchizedek,
whose human prototype encountered Abraham to receive gifts and to
bestow bread and wine, came as man and was known as the Teacher of
Righteousness
Gen_14:18
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he
was the priest of the most high God.
Psa_110:4
The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever
after the order of Melchizedek.
Melchizedek/Melchizedec
= King of righteousness, or by Figure of Speech Enallage, (App-6),
righteous king. In History, Genesis 14. In Prophecy, Psalm 110. In
Fulfilment, Hebrews 7:1-28. This might be Shem in type, Christ in
antitype.
Melchizedek.
His priesthood was unique, and did not pass to another, as did
Aaron’s. Hence, Christ’s priesthood, being in Resurrection life
and Ascension glory, will continue for ever, and He will be a priest
upon His throne (Zec_6:13), and a priest for ever.
Messiah
(David’s son and Lord), not David himself, who was not of the tribe
of Levi.
Isa_1:27
Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with
righteousness.
Isa_11:4
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with
equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with
the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay
the wicked.
Isa_28:17
Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the
plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the
waters shall overflow the hiding place.
Isa_33:5
The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion
with judgment and righteousness.
Isa_42:6
I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine
hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people,
for a light of the Gentiles;
Isa_42:21
The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify
the law, and make it
honourable.
Isa_56:1
Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my
salvation is
near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
It
is the Lord who can give Salvation to one and all.
Righteousness
is found in 289 verses with 304 matches.
What
caught my attention is this: And this thing will occur in the first
week of the Jubilee that follows the nine Jubilees. And the Day of
Atonement is the end of the tenth Jubilee, when all the Sons of Light
and the men of the lot of Melchizedek will be atoned for.
The
article gives the ninth and tenth Jubilees. So if we count back 450
years from 2020, then we arrive here: 5550 1571 CE Sabbath year
(Shmita שמיטה)
111th Jubilee (yovel יובל)
Tenth
Jubilees back from 2020 arrives here: 1517 CE Ottomon Turks capture
Jerusalem; the Ottoman Empire exists for 400 more years until
1917.Ottoman During the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent
(1520-1566) the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem were rebuilt.
Population of the Jewish community in Jerusalem increased. Martin
Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg church on
October 31,1517 which begins the German Protestant Reformation.
1517+400 generation=1917+100 generation = 2017 100 years is the limit
of a generation found in the Bible (as defined by Abraham’s 4
generations of a total of 400 years (400 years divided by 4
generations = 100).
5500 1521
CE 110th Jubilee (yovel יובל)
This
reminds me of the Judah ben Samuel Prophecy that the 8th Jubilee from
1517 was the Battle of Jerusalem in 1917, the 9th Jubilee was the 6th
Day War in 1967, and the 10th Jubilee is when the Messiah comes.
Judgment
begins on the Day of Atonement according to this article.
