   When I think of thorn, I remember Paul saying that he had a thorn in the flesh and when it comes to a bush, I remember the Rose Bushes and how the women in our lives can be both a beautiful fragrant rose and still be a thorn in our lives.

   The number nine means final completion.

Job_41:2  Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?

Pro_26:9  As a thorn goeth up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouth of fools.

Isa_55:13  Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

     It is interesting to note that out of 7 thorns found in God’s Torah that 4 of them are on prophecy.

    The Jewish Rabbinic calendar is 2 days off from the Biblical calendar so we will be keeping the Rabbinic Calendar for this year. In 2014 on the Rabbinic Day of Pentecost, there was a Cross in the Corona of the Sun so I am wondering if there will be one on the Biblical Day of Pentecost this year since God keeps His calendar beginning on the first sliver of the New Moon.

Text:  a Persian word (Persian: Ciyvan; Assyr, sivanu, "bricks"), used after the Captivity as the name of the third month of the Jewish year, extending from the new moon in June to the new moon in July (Esther 8:9). It is the ninth month of the Civil month.

Isa_65:3  A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

Isa_9:10  The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

Brick/bricks are only found about 7 times. God makes stones when He carved out the earth with His index finger but man makes bricks out of the material that God gave mankind.

     This month has the great privilege of being the month in which the People of Israel received the Torah at the foot of Mount Sinai, perhaps the greatest event in the History of the Hebrew People and of World History, which is commemorated on the Festival of Shavuot, the "Day of the Giving of the Torah”.

Exo_19:1  In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

     The Exodus took place in 1441-1446 BCE timeframe and the 12 tribes of Israel plus strangers and foreigners crossed the Wilderness of Sin covering 5.6 miles per day and crossed a natural bridge in the Gulf of Aqaba on the 40^th day and then went to Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia, north of Mecca and arrived there three days prior to the Giving of the Torah on Pentecost on the 50^th day since the Death of the First born on Passover.

Sivan 9.  Venus at Greatest Western Elongation in Pisces. The planet Venus reaches greatest eastern elongation of 45.9 degrees from the Sun. This is the best time to view Venus since it will be at its highest point above the horizon in the morning sky. Look for the bright planet in the eastern sky before sunrise.

      Jupiter and Moon in Virgo makes a “Yud”.  Because of the double “Yuds” we have the word “Adonai” which means Lord/Aleph-Tav (Head of the Cross) as in Baruch Atah Adonai.  It means: Blessed are You God. The Aleph Tav Hey means in picture form: Head of the Cross reveals.

      Sun in the Horns of Tarus the Bull (bullock).  Deu_33:17  His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

 The Honey Moon (Full Strawberry Moon; Rose Moon)

This is a time for Love.

     In pagan lore the Summer Prince and the Maiden of the Moon meet, and find delight in each others company, hence, this is known as the Honey Moon. In fact, in many cultures and beliefs this is seen as the time in the Wheel of the Year when the goddess in her mature aspect of Queen of the May is coupled with the god in his mature aspect of Summer King. Together they will reign over this peaceful season of growth and abundance. This tradition of courtship under the sixth moon is so strong that even today you will find references to spring as the time when everyone's attention turns to matters of love. In many other belief systems there are already time-honored traditions for the establishment of a calendar. We have encluded a few examples here for you to consider.
     However this moon is known to you, as the Hot Moon, the Strawberry Moon, or the Honey Moon, it will surely be known in some ways that call to mind the first honey dripping from wild hives, or the sweet ripeness of fruit orchards because this moon is the moon of ripening fullness.
     This moon heralds the customary time for revelry and traditional love sport as represented by the May Pole where the dancers around the pole weave closer to the center of the circle and in that way they are also drawn closer to one another.

Sivan 21. Saturn at Opposition. The ringed planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. It will be brighter than any other time of the year and will be visible all night long. This is the best time to view and photograph Saturn and its moons. A medium-sized or larger telescope will allow you to see Saturn's rings and a few of its brightest moons.
