If you have a test tube filled with a liquid and the bottom is round, then the water forms to the shape of the test tube.

Your perspective is what you see from the top and not what you see from the bottom. The word transparent caught my attention. When we see the first heaven during the day light, we see a solid blue sky BUT at night time it is transparent and we see all the burnt suns (stars) from other galaxies in our universe. Those stars look like eyes.

Ezekiel covers a 70 year period like ours between 1948 and 2018. This period was during the darkest days of Judah's history.

Ezekiel uses prophesies, parables, signs, and symbols to dramatize God's message to His exiled people. Though they are like dry bones (1948; Ps 48 Ezek 37:4) in the Sun, God will reassemble them and bring life into the nation once again. Present judgment will be followed by future glory so that you shall know that I AM the Lord (Ezek 6:7).

Do we have a timeline within a timeline like we had in Isaiah? Is there a timeline at all in Ezekiel?

In my quest to become a time lord (Dr. Who) of the Bible, I like knowing how Ezekiel plays out in the walk of dates and date setting (verses that deal with dates). In this journey, my quest is to find 50, 70, 80, 100 or 120 date setting verses and many different date setting articles book by book and chapter by chapter of the entire Bible.

His call was prefaced by an impressive vision of the Divine glory, and the expression, ‘the hand of J″ was upon me’ (Eze_1:3, Eze_8:1, Eze_37:1, Eze_40:1), indicates that the revelations which he received came to him in a state of trance or ecstasy; cf. also Eze_3:15; Eze_3:25 with Eze_24:27.

What caught my attention here was the fourth month. At the Exodus 12 10th plague, the month of Aviv became the first month and it begins in the first sliver of the New Moon after March 22 Spring Equinox. The third month is Sivan (Pentecost month) and the 4th month is the month of Tammuz.

In 2018, April 16 was the first sliver of the New Moon and there was a cross in the corona of the Sun in that month.

On the Rabbinic Calendar for 2018, this event below showed up in the Rabbinic Month of Tammuz. On the Biblical Calendar, it was the month of Sivan.

Wheel within a Wheel

Why was Ezekiel so concerned about dates? The answer may lie in the first vision he had. He saw several winged beings who showed him "a wheel in the middle of a wheel" (Ezek. 1:16). This vision was almost certainly relevant to the prophecy being discussed in this article because it was given just one week prior (Ezek. 3:16).

So what was the work that he describes as a wheel within a wheel? Could it have anything to do with his meticulous keeping of exact dates? As discussed below, the fulfillment of the prophecy has everything to do with the cycles of the planets Venus and Mercury. Both are used by the Lord in sacred calendars. The nominal length of a Mercury Cycle (from rising as a morning star to the next such rising) is 117 days. The corresponding length of a Venus Cycle (also from Morning Star to Morning Star) is 585 days, which is exactly 5 Mercury Cycles (5 x 117 = 585). This relationship can be illustrated as a wheel rolling around within another wheel (see Figure 2). It is here suggested that the two wheels seen by Ezekiel may in fact have been related to the cycles of Venus and Mercury because those would be the calendars on which his prophecy of the following week would be fulfilled.

Someday soon (astronomically speaking), it will run out of fuel, collapse under its own weight, and then rebound in a spectacular supernova explosion. When this happens, Betelgeuse will brighten enormously for a few weeks or months, perhaps as bright as the full moon and visible in broad daylight.
