The Book of Amos and the Connection of 5778 Part 1 The Dates

Amos prophecies during a period of national optimism in Israel. Business is booming and boundaries are bulging. But below the surface, greed and injustice are festering. Hypocritical religious motions have replaced true worship, creating a flse sense of security and a growing callousness to God's disciplining hand. Famine, drought, plagues, death, destruction—nothing can force the people to their knees.

Amos, the farmer-turned-prophet, lashes out at sin unflinchingly, trying to visualize the nearness of God's judgment and mobilize the nation to repentance. The nation, like a basket of rotting fruit, stands ripe for judgment because of it hypocrisy and spiritual indifference.

The name Amos is derived from the Hebrew root amas, “to lift a burden, to carry.” Thus, his name means “Burden” or “Burden-Bearer”. Amos lives up to the meaning of his name by bearing up under his divinely given burden of declaring judgment to a rebellious Israel.

Israel here refers to all 12 tribes including strangers and foreigners.

Oct 11 759 BC Earthquake. Amos 775-750 BC = 25 years of time.

Plagues of the Exodus ended at Passover but began in the first week of November for they lasted 5.5 months. This was the same time as the Flood began in the 2nd month and 17th day which was Nov 2. Reference to Locusts.

Orion and Pleides. On April 5 New Moon Rapture in 2019 Mars is on the line that is heading to Pleiades in line with Aldebaran in Tarus and Bellatrix in Orion (Amos 5:8).

Amo 5:26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

2019-40 years (wandering in the wilderness). 1979 and Timeline of Israel 1977 Likud forms government after Knesset elections, end of 30 years of Labor rule. 1978 Camp David Accords include framework for comprehensive peace in the Middle East and proposal for Palestinian self-government. 1979 Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty signed.

The above time frame is 30 years from 1947-1949 with Israel.

Amos 1-2 talks about Judgment of the Nations and the Camp David Accords will be broken by God in 2019 on the Day of the Lord.

Amo 6:3 Ye that put far away the evil day (Day of Doom), and cause the seat of violence to come near; Day of the Lord.

Amo 6:4 That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;

Passover at the Exodus was eaten standing up with staff in hand and sandals on ready to go. After the Exodus, people ate the Passover sedar lying down on couches.

This reminds me of the 6th word in the Hebrew in Genesis 1:1 which is Lamid Aleph-Tav. The Menorah has 7 candles and in Genesis 1:1, the 6th candle represents Yeshua lying down when He died and the LAT refers to 6000 years after Creation for the rapture, Armageddon, and Millennium/Messianic Kingdom.

Amo 6:5 That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;

Amo 6:6 That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

Amo 6:7 Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.

Amo 7:2 And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

Amo 7:3 The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.

The Old Equator

A dozen of the most important ancient sacred sites all lie in a straight line on what some geologists believe was once the equator. Amos 8 Vision of the Summer Fruit

Amo 8:1 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.

Amo 8:2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

The Harvest is ripe but there are few harvestors. Pass by reminds me of PASSOVER. The Sun passes over on the Spring Eqquinox on March 20^th every year. 2019 is a leap year.

Amo 8:3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day (Day of the Lord), saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

Amo 8:4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

Amo 8:5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

The fruit represents people. If ripe, they were ready either to be used or to rot. God says the time is ripe for picking Israel. God had tried to get the people to repent, but in their hardheaded and hardhearted way, they would not. John the Baptist uses a different metaphor for the Jews of his day: The ax is about to fall (Matthew 3:10). God's patience had run out. He would "not pass by them anymore." In their spiritually oblivious state, disaster would take them by surprise.

Could we be taken by surprise?

But concerning the times and the seasons (Leviticus 23 Sabbaths tied to Lev. 25 Jubilee year of 5778), brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. (I Thessalonians 5:1-6)

This passage sounds strikingly similar to Amos 8.

Amos 8:5 has the word NEW MOON as the time for the harvest and the wheat refers to Pentecost. So the Harvest would take place on the New Moon of Aviv, or the next two New Moons. Sabbath can refer to the New Moon that lands on a Sabbath as in April of 2019.

Amo 8:8 Shall not the land tremble (Earthquake as in Axial pole shift) for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

Flood refers back to the Genesis Flood which began on Nov 2 on the 2nd month and 17th day. Also this week was the week that the Exodus plagues began. Nov 2, 2018 was the 7th day of Biblical Feast of Tabernacles which was known as Hashana Rabbah.

Final judgment

Hoshana Rabbah is known as the last of the Days of Judgment, which begin on Rosh Hashana/Day of Trumpet New Moon. The Zohar says that while the judgment for the new year is sealed on Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement, it is not "delivered" until the end of Sukkot (i.e., Hoshana Rabbah, the last day of Sukkot/Feast of Tabernacles), during which time one can still alter their verdict and decree for the new year. Some teach that the church age ended here and others teach that it ended on January 21 Total Lunar Eclipse Supermoon when an asteroid hit the moon at the time of the Lunar Eclipse. Some teach that at the time of the impact, the numbers added up to 88 (A new beginning) and that the 88 refers to 88 days and the rapture on Passover.

Some date setting verses.

1) Revelation teaches 3 time frames based on Day of Trumpet to Day of Atonement. These are: 10 years, 1 year, 10 days.

2) little moment, little while, little sleep. These days are shortened. 15 days in length.

3) latter day, last day (Jn 6:40, 44, 54), that day, Wrath of God, Fire of God (Day of the Lord). Last day of the Biblical year, not the civil year.

4) Matt 12 Sign of Jonas (March's New Moon, 2019)

Matt 25 Sheep go to the right and goats go to the left. This also applies to the Heavens from God's perspective. The planets will be in their constellations and more will be on the right side of the constellation than on the left side.

8) Hour: MIDNIGHT, 3, 6, 9, NOON, 3, 6, 9. The angel of death came at MIDNIGHT. The Groom comes for the Bride at Midnight. Where it is MIDNIGHT on one side of the globe, it is NOON on the other side of the globe. Yeshua was LIFTED UP at 9 AM on WEDNESDAY on Passover day. Darkness came over the earth at NOON. He died at 3 PM. Feast of First Fruits on SUNDAY, He was LIFTED UP at 9 AM as th First Fruits. He walked on the water on the 4th watch.

In all, there may be 70 to 120 date setting verses that God goes by and that we should watch for events lining up to those verses.

The Destruction of Israel

Amo 9:1 I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

I am reminded that at the Exodus 10th plague in Exodus 12 at the time of the first Passover in the month of Aviv that the sides and the top beam of the door was painted in lamb's blood.At that time all the first born were killed.

In Amo_9:1 for "lintel" translated the sphere-like capital of the column: kaphtoreyah. Zep_2:14, "the capitals of her columns," margin "the knops" ("pomegranate like at the tops of the houses," Grotius) or chapiters (capitals).

The Restoration of Israel

Amo 9:11 In that day (Day of the Lord) will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

Feast of Tabernacles possibly or it is a reference to Yeshua's temple that He will build when He comes at the Second Coming. Isa_16:5; Eze_21:25-27

of David. Erected on Zion by David (2Sa_6:17. Compare Amo_7:6) before the Temple was built on Moriah by Solomon. in Amo_7:7-9, it was seen to be "out of plumb", therefore on the point of falling. Here it is fallen down: hence the prophecy here given. In Acts 15 the time had come, had the People obeyed Peter’s call in Amo_3:18-21. But it was finally rejected (Act_28:25-28), and this prophecy, therefore, yet awaits its fulfillment.

The reference is to Yeshuah Himself as being the tabernacle of David.
