The
month the Hebrews were divinely directed to make the first of the
year as a memorial of their deliverance from Egypt (Ex 12:1-2; 13:4).
It marked the beginning of the barley harvest in the plain of Jericho
and in the Jordan Valley; wheat coming into ear; uplands brilliant
with shortlived vegetation and flowers.

an ear of corn, the month of newly-ripened grain (Ex. 13:4; 23:15);
the first of the Jewish ecclesiastical year, and the seventh of the

On the fifteenth day of the month, harvest was begun by gathering a
sheaf of barley, which was offered unto the Lord on the sixteenth
(Lev. 23:4-11).

What is the Biblical name for the First Month (Nisan)?
The
Torah calls this month: "The First Month" (Hodesh HaRishon)
and also refers to it as "Month of the Abib" (Hodesh
Ha'Abib). It should be noted that it is not called Month of Abib, but
rather Month of THE Abib. Abib is not the name of the month, but
rather describes the character of the month [since names in Biblical
Hebrew cannot get the definite article]. The name Nissan is a
Babylonian month name, which was learned by Israel during the
Babylonian exile.

Rosh Chodesh Nisan
The
first commandment given by Elohim to the Jewish People was to
establish the beginning of the Month of Nisan (which wasn't yet
called "Nisan," but, rather, the First Month). Until now,
the Calendar was, so to speak, in Elohim's hands. From this point on,
the Hebrew Calendar was placed in the hands of the Jewish People.

history in behalf of the oppressed Children of Israel, constituted
the physical birth of the Jewish Nation.

Christ's passover occurred on this day. His death occurred on the

Day of the Lord will be poured out on planet Earth beginning on Day

Moon/Pink Moon. This name came from the herb moss pink, or wild
ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the
spring. In other cultures, this full moon is sometimes call the
Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, the Growing Moon, and among
coastal tribes the Fish Moon, because this was the time that the shad
swam upstream to spawn.

substituted for yours (Heb 4:15); And God loved you so much (John
3:16); That He gave Jesus as your substitute (2 Cor 5:21); And

And by His resurrection Death is defeated (Jn 11:25); The Gift is
Free (Eph 2:8); You Could Never Deserve it (Galatians 2:16); and Just
by accepting this gift (Romans 10:13); Your sins will be forgiven and
forgotten. (Acts 2:38); You will be reconciled to God (2 Cor 5:18)
and Live with Him forever in Heaven. (Philippians 3:20).
Jesus
told me this in 2007 in a God dream and the holes in His wrists are
very real. You are my beloved bride who I love. May my Peace
(Wellness, Wholeness, Oneness, Blissfulness/Joy, etc) that passes all
understanding cover your Body, Soul, Spirit, and Mind for all of
eternity.
